The right man won
If White wins tomorrow I can't wait for the dread the fandom is gonna have thinking he might beat Kota (I don't think he will btw)
Last year they were claiming 12k as a sellout - not sure if it' because of their set up or because nowadays that's what Budokan holds at most -, they did 9.6k tonight and that's a BIG number, by far their best performance of night 1 since they started doing three big back to back shows to close out the G-1 (including the ones at Sumo Hall, of course).
Okada vs Tana last years did 6k so Okada vs Ibushi doing 50% more is a awesome, and a confirmation that if Gedo pulls the trigger on Kota winning the G-1, at least one of the Dome shows in January is gonna be a success.
Let's see how Naito vs White do tomorrow, they have a tough task considering Kenny vs Ibushi last year sold the place out on night 2
