Ibushi finally surpassed god
Sanada finally beats Okada, but like it matters at all since not only will Gedo not do anything with Naito, EVIL is ahead of Sanada in the LIJ pecking order as well for some reason, so I 100% expect Sanada to lose his match against Okada and then be back to exactly the same spot he's been in for the past 3 years and continue to be in it for another 2-3 (or more). They might as well have just saved Sanada beating Okada for the years down the road when Gedo decides it's his turn.
Also I'm fukking sick of Evil's chair spot and all his spots with the ref. Disqualify that man.

So night 1 at Budokan has Okada vs Ibushi as the only match with stakes. I like it, makes it feel even more important, I hope they get to draw the best number a night 1 of a triple header (since they started doing it at Sumo Hall) in Tokyo.
Eh, as long as he doesn't beat Ibushi in the Finals
Him beating Naito could lead to an actual feud between the two of them, I would actually be interested in that considering that if the Finals is White vs Ibushi (or Okada
), that means Naito got the shaft again so any new long term feud would be the best case scenario for him

Gedo decided this year out of nowhere to make Ibushi/Naito a big generational rivalry so I see that being the final. If you like the wrestlers and the style, sure. It will most likely be a sub 20 minute match so you should enjoy it no matter what.
This tourney has always been more about the great matches to me, so for sure I still watch "unimportant" bouts if the match ups are great.
