Not any kind of stone cold classic like some of their other matches, but definitely a very good main event to show a new US locale.

I didn't see the whole show, but from what I saw it seemed like a very good event. Now if only they could get their American promotion in order...

Coming back from US TV exposure >>> IWGP Champ at the G-1, Ibushi already had his biggest challenge in the tournament :mjlit:

He's not roided, he's just kind of fat now

Very good show. Not a bad match on the card and the crowd kept things interesting, too. My favorite matches were ZSJ/Sanada, Ibushi/Kenta, Ospreay/Archer and Cobb & Narita vs. Umino & Ishii. Glad to see Tana/Okada didn't go 30+ minutes.

Maybe they were right to come to Dallas. :leon: Crowd was hot all night. Just book a smaller venue so it looks better on camera.

Enjoyed the show. The crowd was small but vocal as hell :ehh:

Ishii and Cobb is gonna be brutal

The UnderArcher with the Ascension makeover:russ:

Sanada and Sabre :blessed:

Kenta v Ibushi was undewhelming, but I didn't expect a miracle from his first night back.

How Tana is still able to hold up his end of the bargain, with the injuries at this point is :mindblown:to me

Okada :wow:

There's a lot to be said for the dignity he gives New Japan as champ.

It's telling that Rollins, who is the main champion for the world leader was out here beefing with the Jr. Heavyweight champ, while Okada probably saw that shyt on his timeline and hit the

Hope they promote it better next time they come back. That main event would have been :damn:with a full house.

He should just post the 2-0-5 gif at him one day.

Speaking of, when he does that to KENTA and gets laid the fukk out should be one of the :banderas:moments of the year.

Imagine Okada vs Moxley in the US right now

Was a small crowd but it was still dope to hear them going crazy for Okada

Ospreay/Archer was decent. Great start and they played up the size difference well (though Will could've sold the damage better, he was pretty good bumping and selling for the actual offense). It went too long though, should've shaved five minutes off. Liked the claw finish in Dallas though it was a tiny bit  after the huge top rope spot.

I really enjoyed ZSJ and Sanada. The opening exchanges were very slick. One thing I liked was Sanada taking a break on the outside after the stalemate, in an Ospreay (or other jr match) both guys would've done that contrived stand off spot. I think I just like ZSJ and his character so much now that I enjoy him more in the ring. He'll bust out stuff just to do it, not much strategy evident, just trying all this fancy stuff. Reminds me of myself when I'm rolling at BJJ. Except he's actually successful at it :mjcry:

KENTA brought enough stiffness, and I understand how they booked the match, but I still would've like more Kota control and offense. I don't want to be mean but KENTA at times didn't look like he belonged in there with Ibushi. Again, his strikes were good but he lacked a lot of other stuff. Hopefully he gets up to speed quick because he's not going to be in there with a worker as good as Kota again.

Main event was great. Nice definitive finish with Okada winning. The leg selling could've been better, or actually existed, but still good stuff. Tana busting out the dive to the floor :picard: Looking to join the list of great puro lunatics. Good first night overall
