Yeah, he should be having 12-15 minutes match, not 20+.

It was still pretty damn good, they beat the fukk out of each other. Crowd expected way more fireworks though, you could tell they weren't sure how to react to the match.

Pretty good stuff. Certainly not prime mid-2000s KENTA, but I'll take what I can get (minus hitting the GTS in the armpit, of course). I didn't expect him to rewind the clock that far in any event.

People will complain about KENTA kind of running through Ibushi, but it doesn't diminish Ibushi at all. He'll get his wins and is still favored to take the whole tournament.

KENTA hasn't really been that guy since...what, 2011 maybe?

After what he went through in WWE, why would anyone have those kinds of expectations? The mere fact that he showed anything of worth to NJPW is an accomplishment in my eyes.

Specially after taking a beating and getting dominated for the L tonight. Kota will get his due for doing this type of favor for KENTA.
