That’s not really the case anymore with technology.

Nobody really uses textbooks like that anymore, everything’s computer based and teachers have access to the same programs.

And with programs like Title 9, some inner city schools are better funded than suburban schools.

Macs, ipads, and smart boards in every classroom and a great library.

I’m strictly talking public schools though.

Of course private schools will be well ahead of both.

I think for black people our schools really need a church type setting. Basic morals, principles of honor, respect , ettiquette need to consume the first half of the day. The second half should be the technical/vocational education. From K-12.

The culture is so toxic that learning isn't a priority. Of course this won't happen because the system wants wild, morally confused, uneducated black kids...but I believe it's the only solution.

it can be a touchy subject teaching 'morals' and such. but I think there can be better efforts made to teach kids about society and civics

I disagree. It can definitely be debated that Christianity and religion has not left us better off. Not saying saying that it has or hasn't, but im not of the belief that it's undeniable we are better off with religion. I'm pretty sure it's sound arguments on both sides.
