Twitter needs to be destroyed. Slave trading was low on the list when it came to the Mali empire. Trading slaves across the Sahara was extremely HARD during that time and expensive. Gold and salt was the most important commodities for Mali, NOT slaves. The Mali empire mostly IMPORTED slaves from places like Turkey but they were few. The big irony is that women in Mali had a lot of rights(and still do) to a point that non-West African Muslims like Ibn Battuta were shocked. And wtf do these dumb LSA-esque whores even know about Blackness not existing during that time??? Mansa Musa was not only called "Black" by non-Blacks but the land of West Africa during that time was called " bilād as-sūdān" aka "the Land of the Blacks."
