That Pac portrayal was so cartoonish and over the top. Not even a Pac stan like that - hell, I like Biggie more actually, but I remember turning to the friends I came to the movie with like:

during one of the Pac scenes. It's like they went for the most shallow, buffoonish portrayal possible. You'd think Pac was just a mentally unstable crack fiend based off his scenes in the movie :mjlol:

Was it the part when Pac got shot and Mackie was overacting like he was in a low budget BET movie?

:ehh:...I was entertained...but it seemed more like a fluff piece...

BIG was dealin crack in Bed Stuy in the early 90s...there was no background on how involved he actually was.

Nothing about his suicidal ideation during that time, or about his paranoia after his success

It came off as more of a made for TV movie type than an actual legit theater worthy bio flick.

For those of us who watched it go down as it happened or everybody in NY during that time was lookin at it like buullshyt lol Only thing I liked was the women and it pretty much comes down to this....

Except for 8 Mile and Compton you really can't re create that era mayn... Pac, Biggie and Eazy took that world with them and that's that, but at least we have most of it on YouTube so the kids and everybody else can see what it was all about
