It was actually on tv a few weeks ago and I watched it, not because I was a fan of it first time round but because the film is so off you can't NOT watch

They got this film so wrong

BIG is in most people's Top 3 and he deserved way better than this shyt. Even the New Edition biopic, with a smaller budget, did a better job than this. Agree with whoever said it should have gone straight to DVD

And the casting of Tupac.......Jesus

I swear I will be tight if they fukk up Pac's movie like this

Compton, even with its half truths and pro Dre agenda, is the best rap movie we've had so far and by some distance

I was watching it last night on BET. I don't know if it's just me or not, but the movie had a really fast pace. It's like they were moving around from scene to scene in a hurry without focusing on anything. :hhh:

Like the scene where Biggie is at Lil Kim's place and Kim is rapping "Who Got da Props," then she starts rapping her own lyrics. Biggie's like "Guys want to hear sexy shyt, not hardcore shyt from girls" and it takes Kim no time at all to start rapping more sexy lyrics. :mjlol:

Or the scene where Biggie plays "Machine Gun Funk" in the studio, saying that it will be the lead single, then Puff just so happens to have "Juicy Fruit" with him and plays that record for Biggie. :mjlol:

Then the scene where Biggie's baby mother comes to Faith's place and she tells him to tell Biggie that he needs to see his daughter more. Then Biggie tells her not to call the hotel room, Faith immediately figures out what he's trying to say and goes to Philadelphia to see him with another woman, then she records "You Used to Love Me" and Biggie is right there watching her at the exact moment she's recording it. :mjlol:

Everything just lines up in a convenient way and you don't even see how it comes together. It's like if Biggie got in the car accident, and then when he's in the hospital looking beat up, he just magically has the lyrics to "Hypnotize" and starts rapping the first verse while people are in there watching him go like :mjlit:instead of telling the doctors he needs a sedative.

TYRONE GA!
not interested in fluff piece movies.

don't tell part of the story, tell the whole story. We know these cats are flawed, don't sugarcoat it.
