when i first saw it, i thought it was very much like those vh1 movies be. like the tlc one in a way

yeah, i remember ms wallace talkin' bout it on biggie's vh1 behind the music but she said pac was on some "all i'm tryin' to do is sell records" unless this was 2 different times :patrice:

i know what you mean but biggie as an artist, is one of the most influential and was one of the most talented mcs of all time. i mean, he really helped the east coast in a major way because the west was runnin' things with snoop and dre, but big helped bring it back to the east. even with the wu and nas doin' their thing. but biggie along with puffy's help, was able to bring a fair balance on the much more mainstream side of things and even it out. he was a great entertainer with alotta of talent as a writer and definitely made a mark in not only hip hop but music as a whole

agree with everything you said
i guess the best way for me to say it is
outside of him being a great mc
great ability to tell stories
crazy flow
comes from the same city
i was just never interested in him outside of all that you know? like "this muthafukka deserves a movie" type shyt
aside from some tracks here and there just didnt feel like there were many layers to him as a man
whereas a rapper like Pac damn neared addressed EVERYTHING! not just inner city life and this this and that
but i dont wanna derail the thread and make this into a big pac thing
just feel that way
especially after watching the movie
