What's up y'all!! Wanted to come back and share the tweet below. This woman gave some insights on using ChatGPT to create a table to critique your resume. I thought it was cool and definitely helpful for me. I didn't score above 80%, so I'm going to beef up my resume some.

I expanded the table creating concept to some SQL code I was sent. Had it create a table with distinct field names, their tables and the joining fields.

MKBHD did a video on chatGPT and reminded everyone of one thing .. This Week Last Week pointed out the same thing.

chatGPT has no concept of "truth" in what it says so like lambo coli breh chatGPT will spout babble like it is truth.

ask chatGPT to write a letter to some famous floozy that would 100% convince her to marry you and it will.

ask chatGPT to write the biography of "<the name of a person who does not exist>" and it will do so.

so when chatGPT says "X" it might not be true

Absolute game changer. ChatGPT will get my subscription money when the time comes. Shut up and take my money!!

Following the right professionals on Twitter is great too. I gotta stop commenting on the personal stuff though, that’s how my page gets suspended.

Lol the last time they gave me a 12 hour suspension for saying white people were sexual predators. :heh:

How? By making my job easier and getting things done more quickly and efficiently? Or by improving my resume so that it can align better to positions I desire? I was able to take 50 lines of SQL code and have it placed in a table that I could copy and paste into an excel spreadsheet in under 5 mins. It would have taken me longer than that.

I swear yall are the scariest mfs in existence. ChatGPT is only as "dumb" or "smart" as the person making the inquiry. Most people in their jobs perform some sort of research or use sources to answer questions and troubleshoot. LOL if you've ever worked in tech support you know that google was a necessity. It's not humanly possible to remember every troubleshooting scenario, the same with writing lines of code.

LOL then it's always someone wishing something bad on people utilizing a product to improve their livelihood. "Going to be funny when..." head ass. You're funny now though. :russ: Keep sitting stagnant at your jobs, burning up the clock, learning nothing new, doing nothing new, and wishing ill on those who aren't.

Those interested in utilizing ChatGPT smartly, to make their job easier, will get useful answers. But if you're going to ask it stupid ass shyt like "how many backpacks can fit into a Tesla?", well...
Nobody saying not to use the tool. I wouldn't become reliant on this tool to do my job. The money isn't is personal use the money is in selling to enterprises.

Again, it's only as smart or dumb as the person making the inquiry. If you ask it to write a line of SQL code that pulls the sum of sales, employee name, and office name from the sales and employees tables, I bet you the line of code works.

for the first time,

that's a narrow query.

ansi sql is not even turing equivalent and is just sets + predicate calculus with a few operations like sum.

ask it something more general like "write the client and server code for a human-to-human fx-currency swap service" and see how quickly it fails.

both are legitimate questions. neither are dumb. it wouldn't even know where to start with the second one.

explain ... once you have the language spec/api docs (in your IDE) what else does a "programmer" have to have to be able to program?

- a programmer

you know there are "humans" that walk around with those specs in their heads .. like sutter, stoustrup.
