Nice, right now I'm at 789 and 784. Trying to break thru that 790 wall.
What's the point? You're golden @ 740.

Bragging rights. But you right. They don't want to even give me a Damn point.
No I doubt it. I think I'm just at a peak for now. Hopefully when a few inquiries drop off my report later this summer, it'll likely go up. Don't have a mortgage either so that might be restricting me from reaching 800. My utilization is like 1% and good payment history. I think I have like 1 or 2 late payments from years ago but don't think that's having much of an effect. Just gotta be patient and I'll go up by the end of the year. Are you're files frozen?
Just asking, since the issue with Transunions hacking of personal data.

Considering that I don't have 800 yet, you'll be when that happens. But seriously just keep making payments on time and keeping the balance below 30%. Treat it as an emergency fund not a privilege. Once you get stable then you'll be able to manage your credit better. But don't get too crazy, especially with your first card. Credit is a blessing and a curse. Sometimes you'll feel overwhelmed with it and sometimes you'll feel thankful to have it. Like me right now for example. It's been a good and bad month for me. Luckily I been stable at work and putting in some overtime every week, even if it's to make up missed hours like this week since I'm taking today off and left early yesterday, still finished with 34 hours. But the bad part is that I been spending way too much this month. Like 300 on an airbnb for this weekend, 400 in car maintenance last weekend, and like 500 to book a hotel in Chicago for labor day weekend for a wrestling event me and my boy want to check out. That was all like this past two weeks. So it's been crazy but luckily I have over 27k in available credit so my rate doesn't go over 30%, let alone 10% even.i just open a credit line for the first time in my life. how long will it takes to build it to 800??
