shyt I know I am, but the difference is I’m not on TikTok and instagram doing a day in the life presentation about my day
This is what i do. I take “breaks” from staring at the computer screen. Then I’ll cook dinner / lunch, vacuum, clean dishes, laundry etc. All while having a podcast or the news on.
Nothing like having a clean place.

. My laundry damn near don't get done if I'm not getting paid for it.
I’m an active gym rat, I can’t have sweaty clothes laying around, so by default I’m doing laundry 1-2 times a week.I ran a whole ass errand today
Also because people at the gym are nasty and don’t wipe down equipment, before and after using, I clean my crib, in the same manner.
I also work in healthcare being cleanly is also the ethos.
Had the phone interview today. They were cool with my salary requirements and said their policy is WFH 3 times a week and only in the office the other 2 days. Plus they have two office locations I can work out of, both of which are 15min from meGoing to entertain another interview next week and see what they talking about. If I can get $20K more and at least a Hyrbid schedule, I’d be down to join

I can't move on to setting up Okta until I get everyone to install MDM on their computers, but of course their not listening to me. Sometimes people aren't even acknowledging my Slack messages.
This is after a mass email about it, a Slack message in the engineering channel, and a message in the general employee channel. And it was announced and explained during a weekly All Hands meeting.
And there's more conference room BS I have to deal with tomorrow.
I'm out of here as soon as I'm done with Okta. I want fully remote, at least 25k more, and no more general IT support work.

We just had layoffs, they cut 10 percent of our staff. I survived for now. Although they did not remove their access completely, they will all be gone by friday. It is not like they weren't cutting staff before. I seen people that have been here for 17 , 16 years get canned back in august too. I am just going to keep preparing myself in case thats my fate too here.
