I'm sure we all work harder than people at MetaEvery now and then I feel slightly bad for fukking around for most of the day. Then I remember that I do all the heavy lifting and stop giving a fukk.

It maybe scary but start looking now, I totally understand the fire that's lit under your ass after being fired. Your too comfortable at the moment. Get a sense of urgency on making a move whether it's starting a business or taking on a bigger role with more money. Your not getting younger by the day. Do something that you can look back on and say "Man I'm so grateful I made that move." Otherwise in the next 5... 10.. 20 years.. you know how the story goes. Make that move. Stop holding off you have big things ahead of you. Get it done.I don’t dislike my job but I know it’s something better/bigger for me. Not sure how to explain it but I know I’ll have to leave here.
I don’t even care if I get fired it will just motivate me even harder. Nothing happened, I just don’t feel like a good fit.
I feel you and I’ll definitely started preparing to leave. I’ve never nor will ever stay at any job for long. I’ve been at this one for nearly a year and it’s getting old, but at the same time I don’t want to go to a new company just to start feeling the same way you know?It maybe scary but start looking now, I totally understand the fire that's lit under your ass after being fired. Sounds like a plan keep us updated to keep you accountable. They cut some OT hours at the job I'm at so I'm looking to turn a 5 to 9 into my 9 to 5. It's time for it.I feel you and I’be definitely started preparing to leave. I’ve never nor will ever stay at any job for long. I also have certs I need to get first. One before the end of this year and the other by end of January 2023. Im not going to look until I pass one of them.
Then im also not sure which route I want to go; finally get an LLC and go for contracts or another w2 job. I don’t know, but it will come together.
interview 3 went well too, except for having to cop to - I've never owned pricing. most companies never care but it's like the only PMM thing i've never done, that said, it doesn't sit with PMM in about 2/3 rolesinterview 2 went well...i guess. the recruiter basically told me the questions this dude would ask due to reading me the feedback he left for other candidates lol
last interview is this afternoon, then we'll see

I don't want to say all non-technical managers are a drain on payroll, but I'd wager that 95% of non-technical managers are a drain on payroll . We're on this SAFe ART and we have a good chunk of non engineers that are only around to make extra meetings. Not even productive ones at that. I can't remember if I complained about it on here or not, but we had a PI session where they were still trying to make basic decisions over a year into the project. I hate these white people . Vacation can't come soon enough.
So apparently white men are discriminated against in the tech industry
They want to be victims so bad
lol what a joke, every single interview I go to, it is a white man interviewing. Even my current role, if my director wasn't a black man, I doubt I would have gotten it. I found out from the other black dude that got hired that he low key pushed for me to get on.
