The Amazon and Google stock split finally made them accessible and I took immediate Ls after buying in both times
Guac in my chipotle bowl, please and thank you!!Company I’m interviewing with base salary is 190 - 210. If I interview well enough. Could push that to 250. TC would be 500
Wow you interviewed without knowing how much they paid? Not a range or anything? That's so brave!Just had the most "meh" interview, can't say I'm all that interested.
I kinda want to remove myself from consideration, but also want to go through with it just to see what money they talking about.

Ahhh ok, that makes sense and I feel you on the bold. At the same time, something can always be gained from an interview. Even if it's what companies to avoid lol.Yeah, I never do this because I usually have the convo upfront if its a recruiter reaching out to me. But this company's head of Talent Acquisition just cold e-mailed me and wanted to talk. No job posting....just wanted to chop it up.
He's trying to sell me on the opportunity and its probably a "name your price" (within reason) scenario, but I'm not too interested in the company. I already know I'm going to turn it down, but I committed to interviewing, SMH.
I do have a number, but I try not to be an a$$hole about it. In the tech world, I'm an L7 in Total Rewards. So my next job in 2-3 years should be running Total Rewards for tech company (pre-IPO would be my preference)Ahhh ok, that makes sense and I feel you on the bold. Do you have a range you're looking for kind of leaving it up in the air for a position/company that really interests you?

As far as pay range, the minimum to move would be:
$275K in annual cash (base + bonus)
$150K in stock value per year
So all in: $400K a year for me to think about packing up. It's a pipe dream, but I'm honest with recruiters and tell them my current employer put golden handcuffs on me. And I'm FT remote, so any kind of relocation or office requirements is DOA.
That's what's up! lol I feel like a TLR member looking at those numbers. About to post a link to some statistics that say the average American makes less than $50k a year and therefore you must be lying
I've never thought to ask for any value in stock either. It's a whole game out here to negotiating and I'm always shocked at what the possibilities are. At the same time, I don't try to climb the ladder either, probably more fear than anything but that's another convo.
i'm feeling kinda aggy about pay right now, it's my own fault for negotiating based on them being series A at the time, but knowing what else i was being offered from other companies when i was interviewing, moving back to the bay, us raising a series b and seeing what they're paying for my role now - the EOY review cycle is going to be serious for me. i'm thinking of interviewing prior to it to come with an offer in hand to strengthen my position.I aint making shyt in the grand scheme of things.
I feel this.i also fukk around, i want the pay of a director without the scrutiny of actually being one
