The older I get, the more I realize how deadly the poverty mentality is. You really have to retrain your brain to believe that achieving financial goals like a high credit score or working for yourself are possible. It's even more difficult to do that when you're the first one in your family trying to go for those things.

Got my second round interview tomorrow for Shake Shack. Wasn't trying to do retail anymore but I ain't making enough money to pay my bills off these side hustles. Looking for an IT job with no experience or Cert is frustrating but i ain't losing focus
I got a degree and it's tough to find someone willing to take a chance on me.

and you havent worked a relevant job yet?
Kinda, entry level shyt. But I didn't go to school to do that. Seems like the biggest feedback I've gotten from interviewers is my lack of experience in Windows servers. Not quite sure where I would be able to get that experience if I can't work in those environments.

pretty sure you can study and take the MCSA for windows server. Or you can do the RHCSA because Linux is big. Pair that with an AWS cert and you should be more than qualified for a junior gig.

Thought I was gonna be able to be a little freer with my paper in 2017. Instead my ass will need to sit down while I wipe out one debt after another and make this shyt right :francis:

I got my first taste of corporate life in 2016 and it made me regret getting into finance to be honest. Honestly, I thought a finance major would teach me how to be a financial advisor for regular folks. Pretty much all they teach you is corporate finance to one day become a corporate lackey :francis:

I've actually been exploring marketing and possibly getting into that. It probably would've been a better option to compliment my entrepreneurial endeavors.
