I guess you were referring to my comment about Black fighters. It’s not about wearing “woke glasses”, it’s about what is very evident and so called boxing heads fall into media traps. These are YOUNG fighters who are still filling out physically, mentally, and business-wise and they deserve not to be over criticized by people who SUPPOSED to understand boxing and the business of boxing. My stance is very objective and it seems just because someone doesn’t agree with yours, judging from this post, you might have the objectivity problem. You want us to hold young fighters what they’re hyped up to be? Who hyped up Shakur to be a KO artist? Haney to be a KO artist? They’re were hyped up as slick, hit and not get hit fighters. Breh it seems that people are in the hen house looking for steak, but get upset when the don’t hear moos. If you think recognizing the bullshyt overreactions these young Black fighters are getting is being “woke”, then that’s another issue in itself.

Here is my two cents about the whole thing.

Was it a boring fight? Yes it sure as hell was IMO. Gotta keep it 100.

Was there positives you can take away from it? Sure shakur's defense is clearly at a high level for a young fighter who still is maturing physically. This defense will make him a problem as the quality of his opponents continues to rise.

Was there negatives you can take away? Shakur's transitioning from defense to offense needs a little tweaking. Develop more a killer instinct to break down an opponent more. shoot he spars with T-Craw regularly..i would thought he would develop that shyt off GP Nakathila was clearly overmatched..wasn't throwing consistent jabs and winging 1 punch at a time. I would have love to see Shakur at least make some attempts to put hands on dude to get him out of there. He had enough power to knock him down off a counter and stun him here and there. But in his own words he played it safe and boxed him up. You just don't want to see backfire on him one day with the judges and/or Arum. That's my only criticism of him for this fight.
