Damn, I dont think I've experienced 5g yet. I still have an iPhone XR, but I think thats how 4G was when it first started.

I have a XR also on T-mobile , ran speedtest,,, im getting 39.7 Mbps :yeshrug: i'm only on the coli, text and talk sometimes ,,,,, my youtube videos and downloads works fine and fast :yeshrug:

If your web pages are already loading damn near instantly and you don't get any buffering on Youtube, Netflix, etc, as it is, what exactly did anybody think was going to be different besides download speed? Unless you're doing cloud gaming or you're a surgeon across the world that needs to perform a surgery over mobile data, idk who would benefit from it right now.

5G is blazing fast, but the availability Is limited. Just cause you get that 5G icon. It doesn’t mean anything
This. Unless you're paying for 5G service, you don't have 5G even if the icon shows up on your phone. Otherwise, you're still using LTE.

I really don't need 5G though. I stream music and browse the internet mostly on my phone. LTE is plenty fast for just that. I use my desktop and laptop for more robust shyt.

I feel like they are doing wrong. They need to be rolling out 5g home internet in rural areas first rather than focusing on cell phone coverage in metro areas. People out in the woods would pay top dollar for some real internet.

Tmobile has no extra charge. Once your phone is eligible, it connects to 5g
