3 times a day everyday

Maybe a bottle of ciroc or champagne a couple times out the year. Not really a big drinker but have started sipping lean several times out the week. Bout to stop tho

I used to workout do treadmill atleast 30 mins a day about 9 years ago for several months. No sports really in last 10 years

Not much free time. I work 7-4 m-f and my commute to and from takes at least a hour

Ok ok. The sports history is a good thing because At least you know how to push yourself.

If you can 30 mins to an hour on the elliptical 5 times a week while eating well I promise you you'll lose 10-15 pounds a month. It worked for me at my heaviest (I also did some strength training too but if time is an issue just do cardio)

No weed will be tough also I love smoking before and after workouts feel like it helps me recover
I smoke weed and drink craft beer every day and am in the best shape of my life at 39. It's all about discipline and moderation. I do that stuff everyday but I don't do it in excess. It's the decisions you make after that affects your weight.

Like @Originalgangsta317 it's not going to happen overnight and that is where most people fail. Everybody wants te magic pill, but it doesn't exist. For me this has been a 5 year process to get to the point where I'm at now. Just stick with it just like you stuck with getting fat for all those years.

Aaaassnd this was gonna be my suggestion lol.

Also no alcohol and no eating pout while you're on your quest.

I'd recommend the elliptical over the treadmill since it'll be easier on your joints and thus your cardio sessions will last a lot longer.
Eating out can be OK but you have to be smart about it

I had Bojangles/Wendys once a week over my cut.... but I would just have a burger or chicken sandwiches with no sides and water. 500-800kcal, very manageable in a cut. Negus wanna get luxurious with fries and shyt

That's the other thing.... OP has got to log calories and see how much he is eating. Can't lose weight if you aren't managing calories.

What about eating?

I'm thru with lean but what about weed?
I would prob cut that shyt out too. When you get bored go to the gym and do some cardio.

For eating like I said.... use something like MyFitnessPal for like a month and log all your meals. I think they have a thing now where you can scan barcodes and then just punch in the servings. Very simple.

You are right but you can likely get away with more things after 5 years. We gotta get him going in the right direction first.

A lot of the best advice has been posted

Myfitnesspal, finding cardio that you actually enjoy or at least can tolerate without being discouraged from boredom

There's weightlifting routines you could do sure, but the most important thing is to get you in the habit of making that walk into the gym 5 days a week.

Go a month or two without lean. I don't know what it even costs but every time you typically would've had it put that exact amount in a jar, see how quick that shyt adds up.

Is lean/weed a hobby or is it a mask for something? you don't have to tell us, but it is important for you to think on it and be honest with yourself because it could be the deciding factor on IF and how long it takes you to get to your goals.
