Exactly. Who wants to go into business with someone who repeteadly gets sued, and files for bankruptcy?

That bankruptcy is a ridiculous blow to this nikka business brand. So he really, really must be hurting in the pockets. (or is just too dumb to realize no one will want to do endorsements with someone who files "bankrupt")

While this isn't always the case, 50 Cent doesn't have the white complexion nor a well established business image or reputation making lucrative. large scale profitable business deals like say a Donald Trump, to where investors or companies are willing to overlook & disregard past failed business transgressions.

It's not just black celebrities all celebrity net worths are estimates based on lousy metrics. It's only published for entertainment value nothing else nothing more.
Why would they only underestimate it then? That it is normally distributed around the true value would seem a lot more reasonable.

Not sure if a major brand is going to risk doing business with an associate who isn't wise enough to pay hush money for an inconsequential 5 million dollars, not to mention he f*cked Sleek out of their contract. Hopefully he learns and builds from all this. I'm sure if he could do it all over again he would have Jay-Z'ed Ross, meaning give him a one bar diss and keep it moving because 50 is really beyond rap at this point. It makes no sense why he keeps lowering himself to the level of hoodrats just to make a point when you got millions at stake :mindblown:

That's not Floyds atm receipt. It belongs to some hedge fund manager David Tepper.
.

You right....:francis:

From Yahoo Finance:

Mayweather has a single bank account with $123 million in it, according to an ESPN The Magazine feature by reporter Tim Keown.
Keown was with Mayweather in a Grand Rapids, Mich. Foot Locker when the boxer discreetly showed him his bank account receipt and said, “One account, baby.”

Keown writes:

“I had heard that Floyd does his banking the old-fashioned way: going inside, talking to a real-life teller. He is also known to be a big proponent of maximum liquidity. Still, the amount of digits spread across the bottom-right corner doesn’t seem possible.”

Mayweather was the highest-earning athlete in the world from 2011 to 2012, making $85 million, according to Forbes.

It’s unclear what his exact net worth is, but it’s fair to assume that $123 million is a good chunk of it.

it was $123 mil. :takedat: (and this was before the $220 Mil Pac fight)

Fif gotta be salty as fukk right now knowing floyd backed outta that boxing deal:deadmanny:

Do you really think a co-producer gets 60 million for producing one season of a series?
The series runs for 3 months. The conglomerate that owns starz has a "quarterlized" revenue of approximately 400 mill and a profit of 100 mill before taxes and financial expense. So do you really think they are giving 1 of their 5 producers the equivalence of a full quarterly profit?
What producers and actors get paid has little to do with how much profit a company is generating. Please have several seats.

i didn' tthink chris rock was like that. smh

Chris Rock is a true genius, plus he's from New York like 50 so he probably can see through 50 Cent's smokescreens. And maybe Chris & 50 don't like each other or have some underlying industry beef. :yeshrug:

At the same time 50 has excused been excused more than any black celebrity out there. He gets the same almost gets the same perks as these white stars. He still gets to cameos in big name movies and co stars on series, yet 50 has lost his star power.Which is a direct correlation why 50's new business ventures haven't taken off. Ever wonder why Street Kings isn't a big hit like Vitamin Water?LOL 50 is not in his prime.

The only reason why the Starz original series Power is big,is because there professional writers, producers and excecutives behind it.

I know that, I just asked if he thinks that it is a reasonable assumption and it has a lot to do with revenue, seeing how they had a good profit margin; implicitly the profit as well in this case.

Do you think Kobe makes more than James Simons?

"What Kobe gets has nothing to do with equity markets!!" :why:

If you say so:francis:

If Floyd can have $100mil in the bank, I can only imagine what bill gates could have in the bank if he wanted to.:hamster:

Maybe you should ask for clarifications on my statement: IF you had the OPTION to keep $50 mil in the bank, you rich to me.

Floyd has that OPTION (and does)

Bill Gates has that OPTION (and doesn't)

50 doesn't even have that option:mjlol:

That nikka aint got 2 nickles to rub together the way he getting hammered with these lawsuits that require LIQUID payments.

If this clown 50 Cent hadn't burned his bridges with Mayweather trying to be the rap Suge Knight, he possibly could have got a loan from Floyd & could have paid this bytch off with a lower settlement amount & wiped his hands of the situation.

I didn't say they underestimate I said they overestimate them grossly. You're asking why? Because 1, stories about astronomical networths sell better than conservative estimates.
2, most celebrities(especially rappers) love for people to believe they're super rich. So they constantly feed the media bs lies.

It's news breh, it's supposed to be sensational
What?

So when they make a list of 100 people, they increase everyones net worth with a couple million to make everyones net worth a bit more sensational?
I don't know about that.

Amazingly enough, Dre is not the richest man in hip-hop; that honor goes to Diddy, who clocks in at $735 million. The news may come as a surprise to many, but while Dre’s wealth derived from a single jackpot idea, Diddy’s is the product of his interests in a slew of companies, a handful of which could one day give him a Beats-esque exit.
