Nelly can come back to the game and release an album when he wants. Black women and white people still love him. Nelly made Country Grammar. He's good anyway his career goes.

Ludacris should have never cut off his braids. Sadly most don't take him serious as a rapper, even though he is one of the top 5 influential rappers of the early 00's.

White people don't check for 50 Cent anymore. Black women love Drakw and Ye now. He must feel like he's in the twilight zone right now. He has not released in album in years, Nelly and Luda both have.

Rappers don't fall off,
Times change. Nothing more, nothing less.

Respect all of these Gentlemen's art and craft.

50 easily. He was the biggest of the three and couldnn't even get an album out. The other two have at least released one album and had one big record AFTER BISD which was in 2009.

I don't think 50 shyt gettin' pushed back cuz the label won't give him a date...

I think he afraid to drop n sell less than 200k first week cuz he know he not poppin' like he used to n music sales are weak nowadays...

50 might not be poppin' in the charts n on the radio... But he's still as big a name as you can have in hip hop. I mean the nikka always one of the hot topics in the coli, with jay, nas drake kendrick n any new nikka thats hot...

plus he always makin' business moves that keep his name out there...

Luda always on single on the radio even if he not a top seller anymore..

Nelly bricked n I really think as far as music goes he done...

Anyway, I think all them 3 nikkaz is multi millionaires, dont really buy that ludacris is broke shyt either....
oh my fukkin god bruh...

for the 50th time take that slimy ass face off yo avi..

that shyt look so fukkin disgusting..:gag::gag::gag:

any RAPPER can.. but will it sell more than 15,000 first week like Nelly last album did is another story. 50 will never sell just 15,000 first week.. NEVER.

Nelly is done. Nygga almost at Red Cafe numbers (ZERO) and Red been on the shelf since the 90's..lol

I dont even know where Luda even falls these days. His personal life is a wreck from the new baby aspect. I dont wanna hear any music from him either to tell you the truth. But Im sure he'd sound better than Nelly

the correct answer is neither. Luda can make a hit when he wants, it's just that the label is probably holding him back. As a matter a fact, if they would have pushed that single he came out with Kelly Rowland "Representing" i think it's called, then that would have hit top 10 for sure. Nelly had a hit being feature on a country song last year, and 50 had interscope holding him back, if anything if he would have dropped albums constantly after 09 he would still do numbers. Most of the time it's not the artist being "Lazy" or "Falling off" it's just that the labels are strong arming them and not giving them the proper release date/album schedule/proper push on these projects. It's actually the labels that treat them like fast food once they get a certain amount of hits with their catalogue, after that, they pretty much don't care for anything else. Jay was smart in the fact that he bought out his album (Blueprint 3) and didn't have to deal with the politics in def jam and found a better situation on live nation. That's exactly what 50 is doing except a little late. Luda should just move to a better situation period.

In music if you're one of the lucky ones(which all 3 are) you get a 2 to 3 year run where you're the shyt and that's it.

Comebacks and longevity are rare

Musically they all fell off, I guess Nelly found a lane now though. They have some kind of relevance outside of hip hop right now.

I'll vote Luda because of how garbage his last albums/singles were.

Let me ask a serious question here.

How come in other genres when artists/singers/bands fall off they get looked back upon with greatness but in rap we gotta dog em for it.

Like how come no one got at Motley Crue when they fell off. How come they could continue to live off their stretch even though they stopped puttin out chart topping music. Meanwhile a dude like 50 who was at one point the biggest hit maker in rap for like a solid 2-3 years... he couldn't pack the house today if he tried. fukkin Nelly performed at the SUPER BOWL.

Nah. Instead we gotta laugh at em. Haha 50. You fell off. You ain't popular no more. I guess I can't fukk wit your music.

I wonder what would really happen if Jay stopped being popular. You think nikkas would still check for his music? You think he'd still be able to pack out arenas? When there's a proven track record of that NEVER HAPPENING BEFORE in rap?

Maybe Jay knew the key to longevity was by staying popular?

Wow now that you think about it Jay really is the GOAT. You could argue whether or not he's the greatest lyricist in rap but you can't argue whether or not he's the greatest HUSTLER in rap. So what this nikka do? He comes in the game and flips it. He stops makin it about who the best. He starts makin it about the one area no one could beat him in. Who the best hustler is.

GOD MC or DEVIL MC??? Or both???

it's because said rappers used to brag about being on top selling records when their competitions weren't, so now it's kinda backfire at them for talking slick. Specially for 50 because he mocked so hard on fat joe, game or jada about his sales. He used to mock on Nasir forgetting Nas was in since 91 and droppin his 7th album when it was only his second album and first multi platinum cd. When you put all your strengh into sells capacities instead of taking care of your music legacy and building a loyal fan base, this is what happens. On a personnal level 50 is rich no doubt about it, but on the musical side we barely remembers his songs, we will just refering his gunit dominance era but that's it. He will not be embrassed like Nas or Jay are 20 years after their first cd's dropped

Also a lot of theses rappers thought the great idea was to drop a cd every year and a half making their music look like fast food and not taking their time cooking something valuable and accumulating experiences. So instead of being awaited and cultivate a certain anticipation, they became boring, overwhelming and predictable, and they gave all they have to give like candles burning fast. In other genras a group like Sade can drop just one or two cd per decade and still be relevant
