This is a wild hypothetical, especially during a coin shortage. I'd take the pennies, but I wonder how much you would spend from a logistics standpoint.

This is a million dollars worth of pennies.

Thankfully we only gotta deal with half of that :smugdraper:
A dump truck can move half of that in one go. You can rent that for $500-700 a day or like $2k-$3k for the week. Anybody passing up that amount of cash because its pennies is a fukking idiot. The bank will work the logistics out even if they have to hire someone just to certify your money in a back room.

This is the hack.

Would be easy as hell to find some hard-up dude to just dump pennies in a machine for you for $100 a day, he'd have you taken care of in no time.
A better hack:

I have kids. They can wrap my coins for free* (they might tax me for a few action figures), and I'll deposit them in our bank accounts. Damn a Coinstar! Sure, it will take longer (I'd expect a few months), but I'm patient & my half-a-mil isn't going anywhere.

500k shyt would only take 2hrs at most to get it all into my bank account and 500k for 2hrs of work is a steal to me

2 hours??? :mjlol:

I would take waaaaaaaaaaaay more than that.

I deposited 10k into my account of 1 dollar bills and it took almost an hour.
And that was with money counting machines and 2 tellers helping out.
