Currency (banknotes and coins)
  • Banknotes and coins, no matter what material they are made from, that are in circulation as a medium of exchange are included in the definition of cash.
  • Currency that is no longer in circulation as means of payment is not considered cash.
  • Antique coins (collection coins) and bullion coins are not included either.
  • Banknotes and coins which are not freely convertible, such as Morocco's dirham or the Indian Rupee are included in the definition of cash.

Damn I misread the question, ya got me I read 500,000 pennies as opposed to 500,000 IN pennies, in which case the latter, and I'd figure it out
Exactly, i know a dude that owns a laundry mat and several vending machines. he has to deal with alot of coins (not pennys but still) he makes it work.

That’s roughly 3200 lbs in pennies, nikkas gonna have to rent a semi truck and hire a driver for them pennies and deposit them shyts in every bank branch in the state :mjlol:

And if they say no after a certain amount then just keep opening accounts at different banks and making deposits :mjlit:

On another note, that's A LOT of fukking pennies. Is it possible that you could make more money melting down the pennies and selling the copper?

Edit: probably not.

I don't think most modern pennies are made of enough copper to even be profitable.

You'd be better off just quitting your job and spending 8 hours per day wrapping pennies to deposit at your bank and hitting every count star in ya city.
