It's interesting Drake gets called out for using writers but he's written some big hits for other artists as well:jbhmm:
Most of those hits were R&B tracks. Mary J, Jamie Foxx, those types of songs

And who's to say Drake was the only writer in the room?

Something something seance. Another Push line

[Edit: Vulgar
:scust:
“TELL HOVA DON’T PASS THE CROWN SO SOON, UNLESS HE GOT A CROWN FOR EVERY WRITER IN THE ROOM/THERE’S TOO MANY SPIRITS ON THESE GHOSTWRITTEN TUNES, SO YOU CAN’T CROWN THE HEIR UNTIL YOU SÉANCE THE ROOM.”
]
There's a reason Push, Meek, and even Kendrick implicitly pointed out his ghostwriter allegations

Where there's smoke, there's fire

You can still be a Drake fan and admit Pusha won the beef brehs. Its okay.. he clearly won. There's really no debate. Duppy was a good comeback considering. But Adidon was the first atomic bomb. It was like, damn he shouldn't, he couldnt have another one in the tuck after all that.... and then he said "Volume 1" :lupe:

You had Drake's hitters trying to slide.. imagine going kamikaze for a dude with a whole mansion and a jet that hasnt been seen in the streets in decades.. thats how you know the battle was over. & j prince didnt really do much. The scars are still simmering like an active volcano.. Drake just doesnt have anything scathing.. he made alot of enemies especially with these heauxs... should've known it would come back around.

Those JBP clips were a moment in time, I’m actually listening back to them.

One of my favorite podcasts at the time, they were so excited to dive into Duppy (which is a great diss track). Great dissection of it.

Then Push’s track dropped while they were recording; they stopped to listen…… and the entire room felt like a morgue after :bryan:
:mjlol: I never seen that episode with the pusha diss on it, there distraught look when he dropped that line about ovo 40

Here's the cliffs version. Their Glass House album was in limbo. Momentum dried up. While the rest of the group and Em and whoever else were working behind the scenes playing the waiting game

Joe went on Everyday Struggle (that show that failed. Something that's very common with everything Joe is involved in. Just like Charlemagne told him in the Rory/Mal version of the JBP before they moved into Parks' house)

He went on that show and aired out his complaints about his boss. Slaughterhouse was on Shady. Why did he put his pretentious ass rap opinion of his boss over loyalty????

So this snowballed into a little tiff and eventually the Slaughterhouse thing ended. Its over now. Crook and Joell have made some great music as a duo. One of their albums covers the Slaughterhouse situation

Heres some videos that explain it more in depth if you feel like watching

And these last 2 videos exemplify everything wrong with Joe and why he failed in the industry. Entertainment industry. Revolt, Def Jam, Shady Records, every stop he's made

Charlemagne warned Joe that he burns everything he touches. Early. In the studio version of the JBP

Welp, like always, Joe didn't listen
:francis:

I've always thought Joe Buddens as a piece of shyt ever since he punched Esther Baxter in the stomach, who was pregnant with his child, made her miscarry then put out a song about it. Doesn't surprise me at all.

What happened with Slaughterhouse?
To make a long story short.

SH is Joe Budden's group (He started the group it was his idea)

Joe tried to convince SH that they didn't need to be on a major label anymore.

Joe "Retired" from from rap, the end.

As I previously stated the group can't go forward because SH is Joe's group his idea. It's the equivalent of G-Unit growing forward without 50 Cent's permission.

Mannnnn go back and watch that first 60-90 seconds of the second video, after they heard Push’s. Joe is talking and OVO Mal is in the background silent af just glued to his phone. He’s checking the internet, texting people he knows etc. cause he was blown away by the diss / kid revelation.

Adidon was Drake's fault

That Adidas clothing line inspired by his son's name would've been lame

The diss track has nothing but facts in it

And this all happened because Drake said Push's Wife's name. He knew what he was doing

Peep this excerpt from Kanye's interview

He does that "mind games" shyt. Implying that he could've fukked his wife

It worked with Meek. It failed massively with Push

This nikka even tried contacting Pusha T's friends and relatives for "dirt"

Drake will forever be them. He has hundreds of millions of dollars. Diamond plaques. More slaps than the Beatles

And the most fragile personality the rap game has ever seen

Let me chill. Imma make someone around Drake catch a body like that
