Damn I’m just reading through and realizing how that song has altered Drake career

1) The personality change with the constant tough talk and moving around like he’s some mob boss
2) His goofy whispers mustache daddy use to be everywhere. Red carpets and I think had the nerve to drop an album. Dude has all but disappeared.
3) Drake looking completely miserable being forced to have photo ops with his son. Let’s be real if the story wasn’t out there he probably wouldn’t even have done that addidas thing. Pusha just beat him to the punch and killed that whole business deal.
5) The blackface. That was such an awful look. Put aside the fact that this dude is half white with probably no black connections pre rap besides visiting monkey suit Dennis every other summer. It’s the fact he tried to pull some spike Lee bamboozle shyt when it was in fact some edgy shock bullshyt for a clothing line. But not growing up in a black household would cause that result of pure ignorance of history.
4) Nothing but mediocre shytty records. Scorpion was his worse album(to that point) and you could tell he went to re-record/adjust like a DC movie

And let’s be real. We know it hurts Drake inside all his idols don’t fukk with him. Jay-z(yea they cool now I guess but the fallout will happen again) Kanye(Clearly a huge inspiration for an early Aubrey) Pusha(Aubrey admitted that lord willin was what got him really into rap. Let that sink in btw because he had to be about 16 when that dropped. Buying used microphones like a groupie. Now buying millions dollars worth of chains just by association)

Like I’ve posted before. Maybe not next year. Maybe not a decade. But in time folks will look back on this reign of Drake and think how did an absolute cornball like this run rap?

Sad thing is like the op I was a fan going back to the comeback season days. I remember folks going listen to this Drake dude. He is Wayne new artist and when I looked into it I went is this the wheelchair kid from that degrassi show? :dahell: But I was shocked af he could spit and sing. I was there for the hype(which I now know was inorganic because he was the original im independent but secretly backed by a major label plant) around SFG. I remember the comparison between him and Cole as far as the next big artist to lead the decade. So it’s crazy to see him morph from that to this cringe, goofball who’s only good for meme viral raps to satisfy tik tok clips

Yea yea TLDR Drake rules and sales out everything. I get it corny stans

Exactly

But Push is irrelevant

The jokes continue to write themselves
:dead:

@Lil Bape the PostGod
That makes it worse and speaks to his own confidence, how you let an irrelevant rapper get underneath your skin to the point where you focused on him 5 years later. The story of Adidon almost ruined his career and exposed many chunks in his armor before the Meek back and forth he ain’t have not a stain on his jacket. Now many fans don’t even view him the same.

This thread was made from a feeling of deep disappointment. Disappointment that has festered since July 2015

I used to be an avid Drake fan. Before the fakes got exposed

I don't know him personally. I honestly wish I never do

Dudes like this get no respect from me, no matter how much money they have. Character over money always

Let's be better men fellas

Never seen a father say he didn't give a shyt about the weight of their newborn after birth. He's joking like it's a normal thing but uh....this ain't normal. Coworkers, family members, friends etc...I've never heard a man say that. To the contrary I've heard men brag about the birth weight, say their wife/gf/etc is a champ for birthing a big kid, etc.

This is an amazing and accurate breakdown of what transpired. I think Drake wanted to break the momentum behind the story of Adidon because it was damn near a death blow. Drake was smart but also p*ssy for not responding, now it seems as if he’s ready for war.
And that’s the sad part. Cause Pusha might not even respond. Pusha knows he is desperate for a W and he knows he is purposely poking him so he can respond “properly.”

But Pusha may not even give him a satisfaction. Which would drive Drake crazy cause he is being left on “read.”

However…if Drake has more skeletons in his closet behind the scenes…why would he want to play Russian roulette with somebody who is capable of pushing that button again?….:lupe:
