Ok so I finally got to sit down and watch the Double or Nothing ppv, I wish I was here live with all of you brehs but I wasn't gonna pass up a bbq party but I digress. Overall I really enjoyed the show and here some random thoughts and juelzing of opinions:
*As much as I loved the show it was just too damn long.... anything over 4 hours (WrestleMania and Wrestle Kingdom the exceptions) is just too damn long for a show. Both the TBS Championship and Men of the Year/Kaz and Sammy matches should have been on the preshow with Hook & Danhausen.
*Wardlow is fukkING OVER! If they don't fukk up his momentum they can easily make 2023 the year of Wardlow. I still have no idea of MJF's situation....
*I liked the Bucks/Hardy match but it kinda felt a little off in some strange way.... their ROH match was better to me.
*I'm glad to see the return of Stokley Hathaway.... TSC booked this and now it's happening.
*The House of Black & the Death Triangle can feud forever, never a bad match between the crews
*Cole Bay Bay winning the tournament was not a surprise to me at all. Cole might be the one that wins the title off from Punk when the time comes in the future in my opinion.
*Kinda not surprised that Dr. Britt won but I thought they was gonna pull a swerve since Ruby had the live Rancid entrance. I
m starting to noticed how the crowd has lowkey turned on Ruby... she should roll with it and turn back into "Riott Act" mode
*Paige Van Zant is not bad in the ring but still has a long way to improve. Tay Conti was looking GOODT!
*I'm surprise Kyle got the win, a good night for the Undisputed Era
*Rosa vs Deeb was good, I still want to see Deeb with the Combat Club in the future.
*Anarchy In The Arena is one of the most batshyt matches I've ever seen but in a good way. Mox's theme in a loop while they were wrestling had me thinking the soul of New Jack took over the sound board. Wheeler should have been a part of this but I know he's whooping ass overseas in the Best of the Super Jrs Tournament currently.
*I might be the only person in this forum that is a fan of the Jurassic Express but I'm surprised they retained the titles, it was a perfect opportunity to drop the titles to either Team Taz or Swerve/Lee... I'm interested to see how long they will hold on to the titles.
*Punk vs Hangman was a good match. Interesting to see them teasing the Hangman turning into the "Heelman"... I'll blame Micah Bell if that ever happens. Since the Forbidden Door ppv is in Chicago I'm assuming that had a big influence for this title change. PUNK vs OKADA.... BOOK IT KHAN!
