Hopefully it’s as successful as the first. Would be nice to see someone emerge as a strong #2.
Heard someone say in the other thread that Tony Khan has more money than Vince at his disposal
That’s my question cause I’m interested but what makes this promotion different? Cause the elite are there ? All promotions run into the same issues eventually in that people have to get pushed at some point they are best for business . Most here complain about Cody and don’t think page is the guy sooo is Kenny gonna be the focal point of the whole company ? What unknown Indy guy are they gonna build around ? MLW seems like they are trying to be innovative but also nostalgic for the old school fans .So how is this gonna be any different from ROH, NJPW, MLW, CZW, AAA, AARP, BMW, AT&T, CVS, IKEA and all the 500,000 other indie wrestling companies that all share the same wrestlers?

That’s a good step but what exactly is going to make them different than other promotions was my question. In terms of storytelling etc I’m not sureThey have a multi-billionaire financing this who, unlike Sinclair (another billion dollar company), is willing to invest in a wrestling company.
That won't end well for him at all.I dunno about DOA, but given Omega isn't promoting AEW on his Twitter page and wasn't in the reveal video, it's likely he's WWE bound.
They need to get some of the under utilized talent from WWE, ziggler, rusev, cesaro etc
And a legend as the face of the company until they find their feet. Someone like the Rock as the world champion[/QUOTE]
Can we at least be realistic, the Rock is printing money out here.
They could steal Nakamura and AJ Styles and be fine. shyt got real when Bandido went to ROH. It's a shame so many Indy guys went to the E the last 2-3 years. Guys like Adam Cole, Ricochet, Apollo, have main event potential everywhere but the E.
He'd be a fool.I dunno about DOA, but given Omega isn't promoting AEW on his Twitter page and wasn't in the reveal video, it's likely he's WWE bound.

If it's anything last the last show, it should be a fun night again.
Thought they all said they were sticking together though? Idk, I might be remembering it wrongWhy do people keep saying Kenny is going to WWE? All signs point to that not happening. AEW is going to work with NJPW and probably ROH. They aren't going to have much of a choice.
I think Kenny is going to sign on for another year of NJPW (and retain at WK). He'll be a special attraction for whatever shows AEW can put together and NJPW will continue to be his home promotion.
