Fury should have won this fight easily. He took 3 rounds to properly assess Usyk and by then, his uppercut was landing at will on top of doing efficient body work.
He was also using his size well, which is clearly his best asset. Usyk was clearly flustered by that, you could see he was trying things to break the distance and most were not working as he was finding a stiff arm or an uppercut on the way in. Also Fury moved superbly at that point.
But maybe it was his strategy, overconfidence, or him just being him, he slowed down by round 5 and by round 6, Usyk was landing his cross and even managed to pop his nose.
Rest is history, he caught Fury and got a critical KD. Fury was out out when he caught that counter, like you legit saw his eyes roll back right there and then damn. I don't think he was that hurt when Wilder caught him in the 12th (unless he woke up when he landed lol)
Salute to Usyk, he earned that one with no help. Bit on his gumshield and went through the fire when things were looking gloom for him and he clawed that W back. I had it 2-4 going in the 7th and it looked like Fury was running away and he manage to stop that momentum
Dude is one of the GOATs, his record speak for himself and he dared going on people's turf to take their belts. Truly shows his character as a champion, no bullshyt, just gimme the belts. Undersized, outreached, outweighted as a heavyweight yet he almost KO'd AJ and Fury.
Incredible fighter
