Like I've been saying, people put way to much emphasis on heights and reaches when it comes to fights.

The winners of boxing matches are the ones who can make the other person fight their fight. Who can make the other play into their weaknesses.

Especially in the heavyweight division where pretty much any 200 lbs. man on the planet can change the fight in a single punch to the body or head.

Usyk was making Fury fight his fight and had control of the first couple rounds, Fury came back and started to dictate the fight, then Usyk showed pure ring generalship and took control of the fight.

Heights and reaches don't win fights. Fighters win fights. This ain't short gang talking either.

fury had him hurt a couple times and either didn't notice or wanted to coast for some reason. He shoulda went for da kill.

Yep. He did his best work in the center of the ring and let Usyk off the hook after the sixth round. All that silly showboating and keeping his back on the ropes bit him in the ass.

Glad a big HW fight lived up to the hype again
Unfortunately, I don't know where the HW division goes from here cause these younger guys ain't got it to me. I don't see anybody compelling on the horizon. We might soon be back to an era where people stop caring like when the Klitschko's were champs and their fights were banished to Germany cause nobody here wanted to see them :sadcam:
For Usyk, would like to see him fight Wilder.
I know he would be favored big, idc Wilder is forever dangerous and it's kind of like a 4 kings thing where it would feel weird if he took out AJ & Fury and didn't fight Wilder. No I'm not putting them on the 4 kings level just that these 4 breathed life back into the division when that shyt was on life support.
Fury needs to fight Joshua asap. It would be a fukking crime if that fight doesn't happen it should've happened ages ago

It will take a while before wilder sniffs a title shot..his excellency has him against zhang and then Jared anderson 3 months later if zhang doesn't beat him up...that's a gauntlet for a man that's on the decline

Usyk was so efficient in there. Even though Tyson won the first half of the fight, he had to put so much effort in whilst Usyk was cutting the ring off and picking his shots.

I thought that Fury was done in the 9th round. That standing 8 count saved his hide because he was on queer street.
