I'm reading Hurd exercises his rematch clause

It was a very good fight so I don't mind...
but I don't think he outcome will be different. J Rock won clear enough to not think that. I'm not really buying into the narrative that Hurd was underprepared, I think he just met a bad match stylistically and it will be more of the same on the rematch. He got beaten in his game, what he gonna do now? Try even harder to break J Rock down? Won't work imo but that's the only thing he can do. He won't outbox him. Also he can't bleed him out down the stretch, J Rock showed great stamina and Hurd couldn't oerwhelm him in the later rounds either, Williams won most of those too.

So except if Williams can't make 154 anymore, drains himself too much or something I don't expect him to lose the rematch.

Hurd need to fight a Willie Nelson type first and get some mojo back before an immediate rematch.
