4K TVs aren't ready yet

So, I purchased a 4K tv on Friday, A top of the line Sony 55"

It upconverts nicely and the colors are great with the display, but there are some big problems with upconverting. Sound lags, and then there is ghosting while gaming. I got another sony and the same problem occurred (the Best Buy guys said it was a common problem). The samsungs had the same problem as well. Sharps were even worse.

The technology just isn't there yet. I returned that shyt with the quickness. I love 4K, but I think it's only good for gaming on a pc. I'm not happy with 4K tvs at all. Plus, there's no content.

What do you all think? Are you happy with your 4K tv? If so, which model did you get? Sony's are a piece of shyt, sharp's are a piece of shyt, vizio only has 1 hdmi 2.0 output, lg I dunno. Is there a good 4K tv that doesn't cost $3K and doesn't have sound lag or ghosting?

Have been researching and haven't seen any li[ sync issues like that outside of a few specific models. Its definitely not a 4k problem. If you're going 4k right now, it sounds like only the current Sammy top of the line(like the top 4 or 5 models in the JU series) are future proof and have both the correct HDR and WCG to cover the agreed upon standards. For that reason I will wait until others catch up. A Cowboys or Longhorns title run could expedite the decision though. I would follow the 4k threads on AVSforum if you want good info.

What is ghosting like an afterimage or something if the game your playing isn't made for a 4k output why would you play it on a 4k monitor unless you tried to see what its like?!? Full 1080p HD not good enough???

That's overall best if u don't mind a curved TV. Curved TV ain't my thing tho unless it's over 70 inches. But yea pure pic quality that LG is phenomenal.

I'd take a curved OLED over a flat plasma any day of the week. Plus there are some flat ones coming this year

Yeah, they can't be happy...

I might try a samsung, or wait a year for the 2016 models. I just can't seem to find anything $2k and under that is working out right now

Yeah, there's like a blur and and after image. It's real bad with the 2 sony's I tried.

I'm surprised they still was producing plasma flat screens the way technology keeps evolving. I remember seeing a 70 inch flat screen on sale for like $400. I was like I read the print that shyt said plasma I was like
