4K TVs aren't ready yet

This is crazy tempting. I just bought a Sony 4K passive 3D back in November that looks nice. I might move that to my bedroom & get the 55 for my living room

I've never needed a warranty on any tv i've had maybe you just buy defective shyt.. do you buy from big name stores, or buy them used.

Always new. This TV was from Best Buy, new in the box

Wow, I would be so pissed....

only defective tv I had was a samsung I bought back in 2007 where the screen got some kinda stripe thru the middle 3 years later. but it was a known issue and samsung sent someone out to replace the capactitors a for free in that instance.

other samsung tv that broke was one that was on my mantle that tipped over and fell like 6 inches and hit me in the head causing the screen to shatter. I was actually that that happened. but I ended up upgrading from a 50" smart tv to a 59" smart tv.

regardless 1080p content on a UHD TV >> 1080p content on a 1080p TV from the same manufacturer

I lifted it from the bottom by the stand trying to put a sound bar under and it tipped foward and smacked me in the head. mind you, I had on a skull cap, so I had extra cushion on my head. I was shocked and totally when it happened to be honest.

and I should have had my brother help me lift the tv so it wouldn't tip over cuz he was right there. I went to best buy that same day and copped the 59" tv to replace it.

but it literally fell like 6" and just totally shattered at the top of the screen right in the middle.

Best 4K TV u can get is gonna run u bout 6 g's.. And it's a Sony.. Test before u buy tho. Cause buying and returning like u doin on them expensive TV's as a former Best Buy employee I know they taking a crazy hit on they return exchange rate..lmao
