He is not entitled to say that somebody will not be accepted in a work environment because of who they are as a person. That's against the law for an organization or a business to behave, and thats what he said. He never offered any specific critique or feelings. He was just operating off pure hatred, just like any racist, sexist, or bigot would do.

The exclusionary portion of his commentary is whats at fault....I agree.

Finding discomfort around that person, he's entitled to it.

And that's where you hit the point of douchebaggery.

Comparing these comments to racist comments and thinking they're hate filled.

Hate is a strong word.

And once again, he is not an employer, he made no decisions for the organization. He made foolish comments and over-dramatic goofs like you make them 10x worse than what they really are

And you're glad about that?

We should legislate against thought and opinion?

I really feel like the world is fukked because of people like you.

We legislate against discriminatory a$$holes like you, who have to find ways to deny people the pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness and for that im glad. Yes.

I choose to see the world through the eyes of many, you choose to see the world through the eyes of the state.

So, you want him cut?

That's not up to you. Its up to the organization. He didnt break the law.

I'll enlighten your dumb ass for a second. Okay, I'll take your interpretation of his comments at face value....say, his only problem is the fact that he feels "uncomfortable" because a gay guy might look at his dyck the wrong way. So to him, and those like him, that fleeting, brief, insignificant feeling of insecurity means more than the pain, torture, and anxiety of being discriminated against as a person by the majority, because of who you are.

And before you jump in with your ignorant bullshyt, I would suggest to you to actually talk to a gay person and allow them to articulate their feelings, and their struggle. As a black man, their feelings are completely analogous to our psychological profile concerning the pressures of intolerance.

Im not asking for anyone to march in parades, or to feel openly comfortable about homosexual acts, but this idea that you cant accept someone for who they are during brief spaces in time of work, or basic collective activities because of one's own hangups is pathological, and inhumane.

I have had great conversations with gay dudes before, I come from a town called New Paltz, NY. Google it, look up Mayor Jason West.

You go so over the top with the pain, the torture and all the really extreme terminology. Blacks were actually tortured, felt physical pain, enslaved, raped, murdered, had babies cut out of unborn stomachs, segregated, consider legally 3/5 of a man. Don't fukking tell me gay people have the same plight as black people.

Where you come off as the complete douchebag is you don't even acknowledge that it's reasonable for someone to understand the mans prespective.

No you quickly jump to political duality of right/left and start accusing me of hatred and bigotry.

You are the scary type of people that the future holds, the people who want to put scarlet letters on everyone not conforming to the politically correct mass ideology. Where people who don't condemn and disown a person the second they say something outside of the PC norm are demonized in an instant.

You never once took into account I advocated for gay rights to start my posting, no you jumped right to calling me a hateful, intolerant, discriminatory a$$hole.

You're a disease.

He should be fined and possibly suspended.. But calling for him to lose his job is a complete overreaction..There is no precedent for that in team sports.. Not even John Rocker was cut/fired and what he said was far more incendiary imo...

A public apology and a fine is enough to call off most reasonable detractors.. Of course there will always be ones they will kick and scream until they have their pound of flesh but they are probably in the minority...

Goodell will be reactionary and not proactive as usual, so the media pretty much gets to call the shots on how this kid will be punished...

Oooh....Ahhh.....Spooky....Scary!!

You might have to work with a gay person, or a muslim, or one of those blackies!!!! Oh....oooh! What a scary world! A world where white privilege is diminished! A world where discrimination is demonized, and not actual human beings who arent actively hurting anyone, and just want to live a peaceful life free from oppressive treatment! Omg!!!!! Treating people with dignity??? arrhggg! Somebody call Sean Hannity so he can read you a lullaby excerpt from the Turner diaries to calm you down.

What bothers me most is we have dudes drinking and driving and killing people and this type of stuff, the statement of an ignorant opinion, gets more attention.

Where the fukk are you going with this now?

It's obvious you're on your own fukking track responding to an arch-type that you've created in your head.

Point 1. Dude has a right to feel uncomfortable around gays if he so wants.
Point 2. He has no right to say gays should be excluded from anywhere.

I just want to make it clear that I, myself, personally, am saying that if I were Harbaugh I would cut this cat on the spot. My value-orientation would not allow for a player in my locker room to promote bigotry on behalf of the organization. Its a hypothetical.
