Y'all read any of the stories about how these San Fran fakkits were going IN on black people after Prop 8 in 08? fukk em. They aren't our allies. A lot of them would be upper class conservative types if the republicans weren't so vicious with their religious nonsense.

So sick of having to tiptoe around these peoples feelings and shyt...

I don't even beef with the notion of homosexuality like that...it's the community that I hate.

Still, dumb for him to voice this opinion. He just lost himself millions....:snoop:

Where does this logic come from, how did dude lose millions?

You think if he becomes the best DB in the league people are going to say "nah, we don't want this extremely talented individual because he made a comment about gay people"

Get real, football is a performance based industry.

I never suggested that gay equals black, what Im telling you is that your prejudice is one in the same with a white supremacists hatred of blacks. Period. You can rationalize your bigotry to feel better about your prejudice, until you mentally twist yourself into a pretzel all you want.

You are displaying an irrational fear and hatred for a group different than you based on an apriori belief system, and are willing to support prejudicial behavior to deny said groups right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

So just like my man has the right to not condone homosexuality, white people certainly have the right to not condone integration or civil rights for black people. To say the latter is untrue, only, makes you a hypocrite of the highest order.

the fact the only argument you've used is the " if you replace gay with black" implies that you believe gay= black

drop the psuedo-intellectual talk, and you're still missing the point that:

1. gay≠ black
2. tolerance is a two way street

shyt, you still think that because people don't agree with your standpoint on this... they must be a bigot/homophobe

news flash nikka, you talking about how you'd take this mans job... cause he doesn't believe what you believe

doesn't that sound like a fascist?:ohhh:

B, Im avoiding the gay = black deal, because that will open us up to a discussion about biological determinism, and environmental causation, and all kinds of nonsense that Id rather avoid.

Last time I checked gay people were human too, and as long as they are law abiding and not bothering anyone, for someone to say that they are not welcomed in an a field, business, social gathering, ext because they are not part of an accepted group is INTOLERANCE and bigotry. Once does not need to be tolerant of intolerance. This is not a "disagreement" ---- It is exactly the same thing as if a white person said the same about a black person, you just dont want to recognize this because you want to justify your own prejudice.

Kind of like how when Manny Pacquiao was specifically asked about Gay Marraige, and he gave his opinion (which was that it goes against the word of god)... he got banned from the Grove in LA,and folks like you were demanding that he be dropped from Nike?

you don't really understand tolerance for what it is, but only what you want it to be.

Get real, football is a performance based industry.

You would put it past a front office to try and short change him "due to character issues in the past"? I dunno breh, I would assume that this is something that can be used against you, even if football is "all about merit" (Which, it isn't, we've seen plenty examples in sports where people get contracts they shouldn't because of tertiary reasons).

Also, (And this is especially true of your "becomes the best DB in the league" scenario), endorsements. To be fair, I've no idea how much a DB can realistically take in from endorsements, but over the span of an entire career, it certainly can't be something you want to just forfeit by making an extremely inflammatory comment.

I really don't give a fukk about "the new civil rights agenda", these people cry in court about marriage by day, and by night they are discriminating against "their own kind" who just happen to be of a darker skin tone. fukk em to hell. But I still think dude made an error with being so blunt, he's going to be sanctioned in SOME fashion, PC culture is keyed in on him now.

I dunno, maybe the league won't give a shyt at all. I just can't help but think back on Isaiah Washington, and how these Cali fags did him so dirty for similar statements. Different industry....but damn.
