Garoppolo isn't an amazing QB but he has common sense and makes the obvious play which is fine. Some QBs can't make the obvious play, they'd rather reinvent the wheel and do stupid shyt, so I think he's passable and will get better.

I think they'll be fine.

Spagnulo clogged the middle of the field where Jimmy likes to throw to. And he had his Dlinemen put their hands up to bat passes. There were at least 3 batted passes last night.

He needs to learn to throw to the outside. From watching him this season his throws to the outside were often off the mark. He's got enough arm strength to get them out there but was often off.

And he looked rattled when his first read wasn't there. He might have mental scars that he can't get over from injuries. He went through his progressions fine prior to injuries.

Bingo. And its easy to bat down passes knowing youre throwing short shyt. All of his past the sticks connections come from linebackers creeping up to defend the run. Hes not a beyond the first read passer

Dude is a game manager at best . They win yesterday’s game and Jimmy wins MVP, they are overpaying for a very average qb for the next 7 years. I think they know they have to continue looking for a qb. They avoided an albatross around their necks.

Andy Dalton ,Blake Bortles, and Ryan Tannehill proves that if a QB carries them self the "right" way the front office will make all types of excuses for their average play.The bag is still coming.

Joe Flaco blazed the trail for average QBs who got hot at the right time to get paid with the hopes that it was his cming out party into the realm of elite QBs.
We all saw how that worked out
Look at it this way: Drew Breeze was barely average in San Diego until he got hot. They still drafted Phillip Rivers thinking Breeze wasnt worth paying big money. Dude went to the Saints and the rest is history. So yeah... i can see how a team will hope their average QB with the right team around him will somehow get hot and become elite.

Jimmy G... I dont know. I need larger samples of seeing dude play before i call it but i wouldnt have given him that huge contract either. But hey im just a casual and people who get paid to scout players thought he was worth it. We'll see

I advise you to go to games. I saw Dak immediately see mismatches and go to them. Hes smart but inaccurate. He doesnt get as scared as Jimmy when his first read is gone. No where nearly as scared. I left the Jets/Boys game more disturbed by Garrett than by Dak.

He already BEEN overplayed. He signed a $137.5 Million deal. Counting $27 Million Against the Cap in 2020, 2021, 2022.
