...why is dude mass tagging posters to this thread?

What's the problem?

It's an important update to the story people who replied in the 5 or so other threads in here and higher learning about it may have missed. I didn't want to bump multiple threads. If you were wondering what happened you got an update. If you don't give a shyt feel free to ignore it.

You dapped a reply in one of the threads on this. Thought you'd be interested in this development and didn't want to bump the several other threads with it. My bad if you aint.

Is there a legitimate reason why he shouldn't? :jbhmm:

...my apologies @Aintnobodystupid, i was going through some s**t yesterday and i lashed out at a lot of folks. i totally forgot i either commented or dapped another poster's comment in the original thread about this situation. the second they arrested Lewis, the white justice system and its corrupt history, told me exactly how this s**t was going to play out. however, i wasn't expecting to hear about juror f**kery and their own preconceived notions.

a note to the sistas and brothas who pride themselves on skipping jury duty: we were taught that the jury selection process is fair and equal (it's not). the carefully picked body of people who make up the jury are so-called peers of the defendant (they most certainly are not).

Obviously I couldn't be a juror. I wish a bytch would tell me to shut up. There'd be a whole different type of trial after that.

Who you think you talking to?

And tearing up my request for evidence cause you don't want to stay late?

Yeah we'd be in that jury room like it's the royal fukking rumble.

They would be having another arraignment for assault pronto

Do they have a smoking gun? DNA?

No. From: He Confessed to Karina Vetrano’s Murder. But Did He Do It?

"According to documents prepared by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and turned over to Lewis’ defense team by the Queens district attorney, another set of DNA was found on an Arizona fruit punch bottle at the crime scene that matched a separate individual.

While the medical examiner declared that Lewis’ DNA matched what was found on Vetrano’s cellphone and on her back, they do not state they found a match under Vetrano’s fingernails, contrary to statements made by the NYPD.

Instead, the medical examiner suggests that Lewis’ DNA may be present under Vetrano’s fingernails based on the Forensic Statistical Tool analysis, a controversial testing method used when a mixture of DNA samples are present. Forensic experts have criticized the method, and it was discontinued by the medical examiner’s office this year."

It is supposed to be on her phone and bvack of her neck but if she fought him off the way they claimed giving him all the scratches his skin and blood would definately be on her hands. Couple this with a twelve hour interrogation of someonewith the mind of a 12 year old and this is where we are at. Bullshyt confession and seemingly planted dna.

Sentencing of Chanel Lewis moves forward despite allegations of jury misconduct
Posted 12:48 PM, April 22, 2019, by PIX11 News, Updated at 12:56PM, April 22, 2019

QUEENS — The sentencing of Chanel Lewis, the man convicted of killing Queens jogger Karina Vetrano, will move forward despite allegations of jury misconduct.

Sentencing for Lewis is expected to take place at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Lewis’ attorneys presented evidence in Supreme Court Monday, alleging that juror misconduct led to a guilty verdict earlier this month.

The unidentified juror’s attorney told the New York Times: “He was bullied in the jury room. That is an insane coercive atmosphere for any juror to be in.”

The juror telling the Times, he felt pressure to convict Lewis of killing and sexually assaulting Queens jogger, Karina Vetrano.

The juror said he was the final holdout and still doubts Lewis is guilty.

“This is bigger than Chanel Lewis,” the juror said, “I’m standing up to the system, showing people what the inside of a jury room is really like.”

Vetrano, 30, was killed as she ran on a park trail in Howard Beach, Queens, in August 2016. Prosecutors said Vetrano had been sexually abused. Her father discovered the body the evening she’d gone missing.

The first trial ended in a hung jury amid claims that Lewis’ confession was coerced and the DNA evidence was tainted.

His mother believes he was framed amid pressure to find a suspect.

That should definately help there appeal or getting the verdict vacated, though it failed today.
