-Swerve wrestling in his own number 1 contender tourney, Swerve wrestling at all in first appearance after PPV title win, Swerve going 50/50 with mid-carder including a finisher kickout. What the fukk was that, let him open with a promo and set a feud up. Isn't there rankings to actually dictate who he should be entering a feud with? If you were dead set on having him wrestle for whatever reason, just have him spark someone, shine him up as much as possible.

-Moxley vs Hobbs title match with no build, how did this get set up? Was there a challenge, a beatdown, Hobbs on a win streak, Hobbs was cooking in New Japan? Big fan of Hobbs and not so much of Moxley, but this made no sense.

-Okay Mina is great, hope she stick around. Like the old best friend vs new best friend angle with Mariah/Toni, did some nice setting up post match. Then they bring out Serena as well. You have a title storyline right there in your lap with Mina, then potentially a break-up angle and title feud with Mariah, that takes you past your next PPV easily, just focus on that. Like Serena, but why would you start this at this point?

-Like the Jack Perry / Elite angle. There is certain stench of "Jack isn't relevant at all without the Punk stuff to lean on", but it's a good job of taking what you have and capitalizing on it. Same with the Bucks, I feel like maybe they are turning a corner in the way they work. For a long time when they would come off with that HBK sarcastic energy, especially in spots where they just needed to be intense and serious. They might be balancing that out finally. 'Kada vs Kenny kickoff next week in his hometown should be electric. If they go with something else like setting up Jack Perry vs Kenny they are retarded af.

Everything else was passeable/wait and see, so that's a decent show for me.

Tony Khan is selling the effects of his injury, even on a closed set.
Fightful Select has learned that Tony Khan didn't just immediately sell the effects of his attack at the end of AEW Dynamite, but did all through the night, as well.
We're told that the advertised Chucky T and Trent Parking Lot Brawl was filmed early Thursday, and Tony Khan was on scene for it. However, he was selling and in a neck brace after being beaten down by The Elite.
There were wrestlers immediately wondering if he'd wear it through the week for any NFL Draft related on-camera appearances.

Swerve is an amazing wrestler, hope they do more to keep him focused and he ends up with a good feud for the ppv.

Deeb about to be the next victim for Timeless. Wonder if Toni taking out Mina, could drive a wedge between her and Mariah before an eventual match.

Chucky knows where his bread is buttered, without OC the Best Friends would be Rampage status.

Pretty sure Kenny is just making an appearance. Unless they been working us this whole time he is nowhere remotely close to being ready to return to action.
