It's the execution of those storylines though, especially on a week to week basis. Once that can get up to snuff, the sky is the limit.

It's crazy to think wrestling might never get a match like that one again, in the sense of pitting against each other the wrestler that's been considered the "best of his generation/best ever" almost by consensus for 20 years against the wrestler that's supposed to be the new "once in a generation" level of talent.

The fact they had a classic match the first time they stepped in a ring against each other with ridiculously high expectations is something we might never see again tbh.

It's like Austin vs Rock at WM X-7, the peak of the greatest wrestling boom ever having it's biggest show to date with the two once in a generation wrestlers at their peak. That ain't gonna be repeated most likely.
