BCG vs. Acclaim title unification match being on the Pre-show.... Yikes. Jericho got the "Please retire" chant. Jericho gotta do something. He's not a draw anymore and getting Go Away Heat. I just don't see the appeal of Hook. If he didn't have Tony's booking and favoritism toward skinny manlets like Vince loved roided up dudes in the 80s. He wouldn't be anything of significance.

Bryan vs. Will was perfect. One of the absolute greatest. Kudos to doing the safest Tiger Driver I've ever seen. Bryan made a smart business decision and getting a ridiculous amount of air to avoid getting dropped on his neck.

It's the execution of those storylines though, especially on a week to week basis. Once that can get up to snuff, the sky is the limit.

What do you mean by execution? Are you expecting good to thrilling storytelling? That’s setting yourself up for disappointment. You can’t expect every feud/storyline to be hot.

Outside of the Bloodline stuff, what other Mania storyline had people talking? Bay/Iyo was building for months, yet no one was invested into feud to make the match at Mania must see.

I legit just don’t care anymore tbh. He hasn’t wrestled a match with any stakes since that tournament where he lost to Moxley and before that the title matches with Okada and Hangman, which were AMAZING.

I don’t care to see him go out and wrestle Okada or Ospreay for 30+ minutes for no reason knowing the likely outcome. shyt not even a #1 contender match or nothing.

I became a fan of him 15-20 years ago watching him challenge Morishima and Nigel for their titles. I’d put those matches over any he’s had since the Hangman match because they had meaning.

Whether he won or lost tonight meant nothing.

Feel like the way TK rambles sometimes makes it seem like he's hiding something or he just likes hearing himself talk. They ask him about when mjf may return and he goes on a rant about all the great stuff that has happened since mjf been away. Could've simply said that mjf has been recovering well but nothing is set for a return yet. Him mentioning the other stuff makes me think mjf contract isn't renewed yet or was never renewed and he won't be coming back. Like he was trying to skirt around the question asked.

Yeah good point. Of course media scrums aren't as important nor his speaking ability improving. Long as he keeps improving the weekly product, then that will have more of an impact than his communication skills.

Don't expect every feud to cook, just think AEW could do better on a weekly basis. I was excited for Bayley/Iyo, but admit the masses might not have been.

The wrestling is on point, just with a few tweaks think things can go even higher.
