Joe Fournier Vows To Blast Out Reykon in Less Than a Minute on Paul-Askren Card

Joe Fournier has vowed that he will knock out Reykon quickly when the two men meet on next month’s Triller Fight Club event.
The two men meet at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, USA on Saturday 17 April, on the undercard of Jake Paul’s fight with Ben Askren.
The rivalry between Fournier and Colombian reggae artist Reykon started after a confrontation in a restaurant, and Fournier plans on making his opponent pay for stepping into the ring.
Fournier said: “He’s either really brave or really stupid, I haven’t figured it out yet. I’m training like he’s a champion, but I’m going to make sure it doesn’t last long.
“I signed with MTK Global two months ago, so I had every intention of coming back. This has been a godsend from Triller to be on this show, and I think what they are doing is exceptional.
“This match-up alone is interesting and intriguing enough, but I’ll knock him out inside a minute. If he wants to come and try to knock me out too then it will make for even more fireworks.”
Also on the card, super lightweight Regis Prograis (New Orleans) taking on Ivan Redkach (Shostka, Ukraine); heavyweight MMA Bad Boy Frank Mir (Las Vegas) will battle former IBF titleholder Steve Cunningham (Philadelphia, PA). The card will be subject to all professional boxing rules, with eight rounds and 10-ounce gloves, and each will be an official professional fight.

Triller Fight Club announced the latest additions for its April 17 event at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Joining the card will be three undefeated boxers, including welterweight Quinton Randall (Houston, 7-0), super middleweight Junior Younan (Brooklyn, N.Y., 15-0-1) and middleweight Lorenzo “Truck” Simpson (Baltimore, Md., 9-0).
Simpson will meet Francisco Torres (Buenos Aires, 16-3-1), while Younan will meet Jeyson Minda (Quito, Ecuador/Salem, Mass., 14-4-1) with an opponent TBD for Randall.
Triller Fight Club is a partnership between leading music and social media platform Triller and Snoop Dogg, and is spearheaded by visionary producer Ryan Kavanaugh.
“Nowhere will you find this mix of world class fights mixed with some of the biggest names in entertainment,” said Peter Kahn, Triller Fight Club Chief Boxing Officer.
“The undercard we have built continues to stoke the fire for boxing fans, who will come for the action and love the music, while our audience coming for our elite music talent will be enthralled by the hard hitting, fast paced mix of legends and rising stars in the ring. As revealed least week, the card will also have Steve Cunningham (Philadelphia) replacing Antonio Tarver in the previously announced fight against Frank Mir.
In the headline matchup, Jake Paul takes on former Bellator and OneFC champion Ben Askren, while Regis Prograis (New Orleans), a former world champion and arguably one of the top two super lightweights in the world, takes on Ivan Redkach (Shostka, Ukraine); and Joe Fournier (London) will challenge music star Reykon (Envigado, Colombia).

I’m sure Askren is working on a strategy to clinch, if he can get Jake to miss big punches and get stupid, he can frustrate him. He’s already in Jake’s head.
