You don’t follow this close enough or are familiar with combat sports if you think that wasn’t legit.

I’m sorry, Askren was damaged goods going into this and this Paul guy has taken it seriously for 3 years straight sparring legit boxers. Ontop of Askren being old and damaged goods, he has the worst stand up of any MMA fighter that has ever been a contender. It’s not a surprise outcome to people that follow combat sports.

Most people saw this coming a mile away, don’t be naive man.
you know what...

yall worship yall Jake Paul king.

yall are being obtuse as to what i'm saying.

Nah....it's clear y'all bugging.

Hiw tf is a basketball player duking it out for multiple rounds more embarrassing than a fighter getting rocked in 10 seconds?
it's not about that, most people expected askren to lose and everyone knew he didn't really care about boxing. nate trained a lot more, his ko looked a lot more brutal and was more memable, and took it way more seriously.

This is one walk back to the past I am more than happy to make.

I said on another page:

Putting my account for a ban bet against whoever if Jake boxes McG. And put 50k on JP and post the bet slip after.

Y'all the same people that gassed McG and gave him 2.21 odds againdt MAYWEATHER :russ:

1 week before the fight I went to the casino and when I saw fairly even ODDS I legit hit the :shaq: face and first thing I did was call the Bank and tell them to remove any limits I have on my Debit Card.

I am more than ready for a RD. 2 of Boxing vs MMA in a Boxing match.

Once again I don’t know who y’all are. And congrats on betting on Mayweather. Such a brave risk taker you are :mjlol:

He didn’t take no dive man :mjlol:

Premature stoppage can be argued

but not a dive
people are usually angry when there is a premature stoppage

whatever this back and forth with yall is going no where.

ya'll clearly want this to be some major victory because he KO'd a known washed MMA wrestling dude, who clearly didn't train.

if you show up to lose and get paid, that's taking a dive in my eyes. i'm done replying.

You're clearly slow or have a reading/comprehension problem if THAT is what you understand from my post.

And clearly you don't know shyt about betting if you don't understand what McGregor having GOOD ODDS against MAYWEATHER means.

I keep TYPING in CAPS LOCK the important stuff for you to focus on, but you still having problems understanding the gist.

The poll in this thread is shocking, out of all of the footage we saw of Ben what made people think he would win, foot work, pad work, Speed, head movement, everything looked horrible. You can go into a local boxing gym and see better shyt than that.

Ben is going to get knocked the fukk out, he’s slow, he doesn’t have any head movement and he keeps his chin in the air. He looked just as bad today as he looked a few months ago.

we supposed to believe Nate Robinson did better than a guy like Ben Askren who has done legit MMA? :skip:

There are some grapplers who have done MMA at a high level for a over decade, yet still have utterly horrible striking. Dudes like Ben Askren and Jake Shields literally learned JUST enough striking defense to allow them to close the distance and get a grip on their opponents while minimizing the risk of getting hit with bombs.

This is a demonstration of Askren's striking skills ten years into his MMA career:

askren took a dive though

he showed up literally having not trained

he showed up to lose

that is taking a dive

letting someone KO you is taking a dive

i dont know why you so invested in this shyt being legitimate.
If i can't find you in a legit thread about boxing I'm not really "invested" in what you got to say. Have a good night fam.

Yup. People are getting emotional yet are trying to tell people that follow combat sports that they’re wrong.

Worth pointing out that that "high level" was Bellator etc. He won literally one round in the UFC in a fight where he was getting beat up and then lucked into a submission, lost the others including one in record quick time, then retired.

Same for Rousey, you can just watch her shadow box and know she’ll get get knocked out within a minute in a real boxing match
