that's why people pushing back. the masses and some posters in this very thread are fooled because he knocked out a guy that was clearly there to lose and get paid.

Jake Paul picking Askren because he knew it was an easy dub(which he did) is not the same as a rigged fight or someone taking a dive. Paul fighting a scrub(Askren) for an easy win is no different than boxing prospects fighting journeymen and bums for easy wins, the difference is Paul has millions to generate his own hype machine.

You don’t follow this close enough or are familiar with combat sports if you think that wasn’t legit.

I’m sorry, Askren was damaged goods going into this and this Paul guy has taken it seriously for 3 years straight sparring legit boxers. Ontop of Askren being old and damaged goods, he has the worst stand up of any MMA fighter that has ever been a contender. It’s not a surprise outcome to people that follow combat sports.

Jake already said he's not interested. He ain't stupid. They also asked him if he would fight canelo and he said hell nah. He actually respects the science and understands he could never fukk with dudes who been training since they were kids. That being said I still wouldn't be surprised to see him take that fight if they drop a crazy bag on him
