Now we moved it to 12 games :mjlol:

Infinite sales are not included in the 35. I’m sure they are at least at 40+ right now.

I didn’t include infinite. You are posting the franchise total sales at 81 million, the franchise up until Halo Infinite has 13 games. that 35 million is split amongst all those games unless you can prove otherwise

They literally did.

Y’all just ignore it. Or find ways to discredit it :francis:

The “95” layoffs is an exaggeration as lots of them were contractors who were gonna be let go anyway. All games do this. Once the game releases the team gets smaller. As development starts to get back serious they hire more people.

Biggest changes at 343i was management that fumbled recent deadlines and plans.
From what I recall the estimate for Halo 5 was 9.5m and I think Halo 4 might have been around the same range. However, its tough to know the actual sales since Microsoft doesn't show numbers. Anyways we can be generous and say Halo 4, 5, and Infinite sold 25m. Even then those 3 games sold much less than TLOU franchise, and I assume MCC may be at around 10m, so i you add that to the equation it still sold less than TLOU franchise.

Anyways, if sales were better I am sure Microsoft wouldn't be as ruthless as they were by cutting 95 jobs. Lastly, it seems to be back to the drawing board since I don't think the franchise performed like Microsoft wanted it to

I literally just posted it.

Y’all are just in denial based on what you thought you knew.

Since 343i released their first halo game until just before they released infinite. They sold 35+ million copies of Halo. That’s the number.

All of this other jewlezing y’all are doing is just your own nonsense:manny:

We can't even define what constitutes a sale. Are the individual components of the MCC made available part of a sold copy? Are the mobile downloads of a free to play game counted?

That article strongly implies they both asked for a game by game breakdown and were rebuffed from getting one. If those numbers looked good you'd easily get them. They're more than eager to obfuscate the sales of the individual games and instead give you some dollar amount spent. It's like a chick taking pictures in her bathroom mirror for social media she's gonna use every trick in the book to get the most flattering ones and the rest will never be seen
Y’all juelzing after Meech gave y’all numbers.

Microsoft also announced that Halo has generated more than $6 billion+ in worldwide product sales,

Halo infinite can be a disappointment and halo could have also sold a lot under 343.

Not sure why y’all are doing this.

It’s crazy taking to these dudes.

It’s really like talking to trump magas. They live in their own world with their own “facts” no matter what actual information is presented to them.

It’s actually crazy to witness :wow:

Read dummy :stopitslime:

More than 81 million Halo games have been sold since the franchise debuted in November 2001. Microsoft did not provide a sales breakdown by game, but the company said 2015's Halo 5: Guardians was the "biggest Halo launch to date." For comparison, Activision has sold more than 400 million Call of Duty games, while the GTA series has passed 355 million sold. The Halo series is exclusive to Xbox platforms and PC, while those franchises are multiplatform.

No people are asking you for clarification you can't give. Instead of just saying the article you quoted is unclear you're trying to pretend like that clarification doesn't matter. It actually does because all of us can easily come up with ways to pad those copies sold numbers to make them more flattering than they actually are. Things like:
Counting the download of free to play iOS and Android games as a sale.
Counting the individual skus of each Halo game that comprise the MCC as a sale.
Counting the copies downloaded from Game Pass as a sale.

You seem to be unable to clarify if any of that was done. You just gulp down the flattering PR slosh you're given and start jewlezing about others not doing the same.

now compare that to the sales numbers from before 343i

Do a little bit of math, and you should be good :ehh:

But there’s no distinction made between before 343i took over and the sales after. We’d have to assume microsoft never sold another copy of a previous halo game after they took over, which would be dumb

Theres actual very little transparency in regards to sales of the halo franchise after 343. Saying it sold more than TLOU is a fabrication of your mind because you dont have any actual numbers

And microsoft is afraid to say what they are

Assuming a significant portion of Halo sales between 2012 and 2021 were old ass xbox 360 games is what’s dumb.

But stupidity is usually what y’all fall back on when reality doesn’t feel good to you:mjlol:
