@Nicole0416 theres a company called fright rags. They sell horror apparel. Pretty dope shyt too. Anyway they have a podcast and the owner of the company is on your side with Zombie. He says he makes fun horror movies with bad people doing bad shyt:manny:

They’re not made to be picked apart like Hereditary and that’s fine. :russ: He said if anyone goes into a zombie movie and doesn’t like it, he asks “well did you like any other zombie movie?” And they say no. So he says “so why would you expect to like this one? It’s like going to McDonald’s when you know you don’t like McDonald’s and then complaining about the Big Mac”

I thought that shyt was spot on. Not just for zombie but any director with a clear point of view.

:deadmanny::deadmanny::salute: to that podcast and owner. Told yall, Rob Zombie is an acquired taste and there are those of us who share the same sentiment :umad:That's the perfect way to describe Zombie - a culmination of bad people engaging in bad behavior committing bad acts against other people simply because their bad. You don't watch it because it has a purposeful meaning, you just watch it for the violence and to see how far he goes with the deviancy and the dark humor. Some people do crazy shyt just to do it. Simple formula that works- he's a genre unto himself.

That’s pretty much what he said lol. They’re talking about their fav horror flicks of the year so far and he got into a discussion about 3 from hell.

Watched ALL THE BOYS LOVE MANDY LANE last night.
I give the folks behind the movie props for trying to circumvent the Final Girl trope and they did a good job of creating tension throughout the movie but it also had a lot of flaws to it. Still worth a watch though.

Watched Wounds on Hulu this was OK... I liked the concept finding a cellphone and then some sort of cult/demon haunting him but it just drags on and goes nowhere, we don't learn much about what he's discovered, it's more of a character study than anything. The scene where Armie Hammer sees bugs on his hands and jumps out his car...:mjlol:

Also checked Rattlesnake on Netflix more of a Thriller with supernatural horror elements thrown in it. Not bad but here's not much to the plot as the movie carries on in a straighfoward fashion.
