Not really. I have 2. If you want to spoil your kids they cost alot. They cost alot of personal time more then anything which may be with alot of new parents don't want to sacrifice.

I wasnt tallking money. Time, patience, energy, frustration, did I mention patience?

In the modern world, most people are not financially equipped to have kids from their teens to late 20s due to cost of living and lack of quality housing in non isolated areas. Human genetics going against societal norms and resources.

People having kids unplanned under the age of 27 often have their kids living outside of their cribs like the grandma's house or bouncing from place to place

That's true. I grew up with some of those people. My mom was like the neighborhood mom because she always opened her home up to other people's kids, even as a single parent. Some of those kids turned out okay, but some went down a bad road as adults.

But also fixable. Just have to reconnect with your inner kid again.

I've noticed that most people that are content with not having any kids have close nieces and nephews that are almost a substitute. With that in place he may not change his mind about not wanting any.
Genuinely don't know that many people that aren't at least an uncle or aunt with that mentality though.

Most of my friends with kids are just entering their adolescence.

Most are struggling too tbh, but make the best of it. I won't lie I'm a little too selfish to have kids now, I'm thinking maybe in my late 30s.

Going on Caribbean adult only vacation with no kids is a blessing, you really get to enjoy every damn minute of it.
