30's People - You ever be shocked at how old your peers kids are?

I'm 36 with a 2 year old and a lot of my friends have kids about to damn near graduate high school. It makes me feel a little strange and old like I started too late or something.

I mean I did, then the 2 year old turns to 3 and all you end up caring about is keeping some semblance of order whilst keeping them safe.

Unfortunately a lot of the people i grew up with had unplanned children at a young age so they have adult or late teen kids in their 30's

Aint no guarantees kids gonna take care of parents anyway, most of em end up sending parents to the nursing home
