The stair master is my go to cardio machine now. One thing you could do for better gains is to spice it up with high intensity intervals. Like on the stairs master, I will crank it up to 16 for a minute, and then dial it back down to 4 for a minute while I recover. I repeat that for 30 minutes.

On the treadmill, I crank it up to 10 or 11 for a minute, and slow it back down to 3 for a minute while I recover.

Outside I primarily work on sprints instead of light jogs. I don't consider a cardio workout effective unless I'm about to fall over gasping for air when I'm done.
This breh knows something.. :salute:

I can't do 60 min on one machine.. but I'll warm up on bike then hop on stair master, I had that shyt cranked so high I was surprised when it stopped on level 20. :wow: push it to the limit.. hiit over everything, you will see results.. usually do like 10 minutes level 10 then bounce back n forth goin level 13, 15, 17, 20..

Then get off and go do sprints on inclined treadmill or if u got in in your gym and really about that life gets on a versaclimber..

We have new stair masters at my gym that let you do farmers carry or push your own weight against the treads. It’s one of the most grueling workouts that I have done in my life. Keep up the good work OP!
Ugh :banderas: :banderas: :banderas:

When I was doing the fire academy I got lean as fukk on them things. Ric Flair is the only known man I know of fitness who vouched for this since the early 80s atleast to my knowledge. Them and running hills will get you lean as fukk.

My personal best was 30 mins with the 75lbs vest on geauxin to on level 3.0 and wearing them VO2 Breathing mask trainer thing. I was dropping beaucoup weight with it. But I couldn't keep mass on my legs.

Since I can't wear that shyt no more I just cruise a level 3 without the weighted vest. And I have the trainer mask still.

Now that shyt works to make ya lung skrong as fukk.
@King_Kamala61 how many minutes a day did Ric Flair use the stair master? How many days a week did he use it?

Edit: I have both in my home gym (just a vertical climber, not stair master).. I just been rowing more lately due to less noise…

Weighted vest on both

I said inefficient because rowing machines require more technique. It's better for the average person to just use the stairmaster or treadmill because there's no learning curve. If your have the technique down sure it's great. Most people I see use it sloppily.

Plus most gyms will have a ton of cardio machines but 1 or 2 rowing machines.
