Your scenario completely skips the fact that most women are not stable at 22 or even 25. Because you work off an assumption that the man should essentially function as the parent for his wife until she fully gets it together.

Your scenario also ignores the fact that most black men are not in a stable place by even their late 20’s. In this thread alone, men have agreed that many BM don’t come into their stride until their 30’s.

And you didn’t even touch on the millIons of BM currently incarcerated or recently released, with a record that hinders their earning potential.

Taking just those factors into consideration, makes the issue much harder than what you just tried to present.
