All used. Them shyts broke down and they can’t afford to fix them :francis:. The 7 series is 2014 and needs a new transmission.

Getting these used German cars will look fly for the first few months, but once they break down..... it’s a wrap.

NEVER German luxury car unless

1. It’s brand new
2. It’s Certified pre owned and under warranty.
3. You’re a mechanic, and can afford to buy the parts.

when u do take them to a mechanic, more times than not, they gonna assume you got money and will bleed those pockets. Flexing don’t mean much if your car isn’t driving.
Hahahaha..I thought you meant in your driveway in first sight but this is even sillier. Damn shame:laugh:

I'm about to rent the Kia Stinger though..I like the look.

Lexus are largely considered to be bland design wise but they are definitely the most bang for your buck luxury cars out. My bro had a GS back in the late 90’s and drove it to 163k before it had a major problem: the heater coil went bad. Years later I worked for Toyota Financial Services and anyone who knows about them know they had the dope employee discounts: I had 2 GSs- a 2009 and a 2013 F-sport. Both new and I put 75k on both in 3 years time (150k miles over a 6.5 year period) and the most expensive repair I had was rotors and tires. I’ve since left the company and living in a downtown metro area lessened my current need for a car: I work from home & my current job is on the subway line if I need to go in, but when I cop again it’s def gonna be Lexus.

Earned my shade tree mechanics degree from YouTube university. When I have the time I can get a full engine swap done (did on a Bmw z3 in the past over a weekend and had a lot of fun).
You really have to know
A. Where to find cheap food quality parts
B. Who has the cheapest labor rate with good quality work to handle your car if you can’t work on it yourself
C. Know the ins and outs of your vehicle

if you don’t take the time to learn about your cars systems and how they work you’re going to get butt fukked on repairs because mechanics WILL run them pockets.

I’ve owned over 25 Vw’s audis and 2 bmws and know the game.

Are the BMW's and Audi's inherently more unreliable?

Not many audis in their lineup are unique specifically to Audi people are just dumb enough tot ale their car to an Audi dealership to pay a service premium instead of taking it to VW or an independent (sans warranty work). So if you buy an A4 for instance you’re just buying an upscale Jetta which has downmarket parts that drive down repair costs (if you know where to look).

Newer bmw have gotten better but they never age well unless you’re looking at late 80’s early early 90’s era when they had real competition to step their game up from incoming Lexus at the time which was a credible threat and drove German innovation in that generation of cars.

From reading BMW forums and talking to previous owners they always recommend going for the newer models. As for Audi, I've heard mostly good things. Just know that any euro car is on another level compared to japan/domestic. All parts and labor will be more expensive.

you would google "Independent BMW mechanic/repair/shop + your location". Look up BMW forums. There should be a thread on independent shops for every state.

What was said, there are plenty of independent shops by techs that learned everything they needed at the bmw dealership then spun off to make their own money and hours. They will gladly fix your car for $100’s cheaper than a dealership

I still see Honda’s from the late 90’s early 2000’s still riding through the city. My mom still has her 2004 Honda Accord and has has less problems than I’ve had with my 2013 Mazda 6 smh.
