They killed the streaks of Charlotte, Strowman, and Nia Jax all in the throwaway PPV right before WM. :laff:
Bu bu bu they want 50 year old Goldberg to be the only one with a streak so Streak Slayer Brock can kill another one at Mania :brock:

AJ Styles appeared on Lilian Garcia: Making Their Way to the Ring. Below are the highlights…

On John Cena: “When you’ve got a guy who has been in the business just as long as you have, but he’s been in the ring with so many amazing performers in the WWE, and I’m talking about John Cena. You can learn a thing or three from this guy, and a half. It was such a blessing to get in the ring with someone like him; to learn from him, because the WWE is completely different than the independents, or this place or that place, or Japan. It’s different.”

On why he turned down 2002 developmental deal with WWE: “At the time I was married and I didn’t think it was right to move to Cincinnati, even though my wife said, go. It wasn’t right to leave her, have her move back in with her mother. My job is to take care of her. So I turned down, respectfully, the developmental deal with WWE. Then within a few months TNA started up, which I thought was just another independent thing that was probably happening. It wasn’t a big deal to me. But within six months it’s like, OK this might be something. As it grew on, I grew to love that place, because I felt that it was something I and other guys were building.”

On if he had a hand in Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson joining him in WWE: “[WWE] were like, well we’re just interested in you right now. I’m like, um OK. That same week they go, no, we want all of you. So it was like, yes! I didn’t want to pull them away and then get their hopes up and then oh, sorry guys, just kidding. So I’m so glad that they got to come with me and it made a huge difference.”

AJ Styles recently took part a conference call (courtesy of SportsKeeda for the transcript). During the call,

Do you think we need more shock and surprises in WWE?

“Absolutely. WWE right now is like, there are so many things on the internet that shouldn’t be. That really bothers me. That hurts surprises, that hurts a lot of things. Hopefully, that will be taken care of so that we can give you the surprises that everybody wants. We got to tell a story out here, and you know that the best movies are the ones you didn’t see coming. We’re doing that same thing, and when things are leaked it bothers me. But we definitely try to give you guys surprises, but sometimes it’s hard.”

What do you think of Kurt Angle wanting to face you?

“I would love to get in the ring with Kurt Angle again. Whether or not that will ever happen, who knows. I’m very excited that he’s in the WWE Hall of Fame. I know how much this means to him, and it’s a big deal. Even when we were with a different company, he still talked about WWE so I know this is a big deal to Kurt Angle, and I’m very happy for him. And as far as other performers, I would love to have gotten into the ring with a bunch of them. But you know, that’s not gonna happen. I would certainly have been able to learn from some of them. And there are tonnes of them; too many to name. For me it’s not just the fact of getting in the ring with them, it’s about learning from them.”

How do you feel about John Cena after facing him in WWE?

“Regardless of what anyone else thinks about John Cena, I respect him. They can boo him or say he sucks; the guy is one of the hardest workers in the WWE. He’s been here on top for a long time, and there’s no way he can do that without being one of the toughest, one of the best, and one of the most experienced guys in the business. John Cena has earned my respect, and that’s why we’ve had incredible matches.”

This show fell off since about a month ago when they reported Hunter has been backstage in production. Becoming more and more like Raw.

Only memorable thing last week was the Orton pose at the end in front of the burning building. Gonna watch but this might be the last one for me if its as lame as it has been the last few weeks.
