What a PPV. Sting's final match was perfect, simply perfect. TK treated Sting with so much respect throughout his run. They really perfected the cinematic match, not sure if they were the first or second but they really were the best. Darby absolutely was a God send to Sting, we joked about him being his facepaint son but he helped tremendously. Couldn't think of a better pairing of two different generations.

Best PPV of the year so far, I would say so.

I really only watched for the sting tribute,
And that was well done. But it should have been in WWE, this company feels like the minor leagues like if Peyton would have retired in the XFL. I hope Bryan comes back to WWE to retire because he won’t get the treatment he deserves in AEW

The four matches y’all suggested me to watch was worth it but overall I won’t remember anything from this show other than stings retirement. AEW is ice cold to me right now and I don’t see it heating up anytime soon.
lol because as we all know Sting got treated so well for his retirement there :comeon:

I’m not seeing the awe of Konuske/Os. It was a good match, but just seemed to stall at moments. My friend, who never seen an Os match, said it was insane. Are a lot of dudes not familiar with Os and that’s why the match is praised? I gotta run it back. :patrice:

And led by the man that had to go over Sting at WrestleMania
Different times.
We’ve never seen Trips do a retirement match/ceremony, yet you think it would be better? The event had 16k+ and a PPV, but felt small? :dwillhuh:
Yea I believe the WWE production team and the fact that they own 97% of his classic footage would have made it better. They could have had even more legends show up and did it infront of even more people and it would have got more media coverage

Like I said I enjoyed what they did but I felt like a legend like him should be retiring in the big leagues.
